  I know everyone is all over Lacy, and I admit a good landing spot will force me to move him up, but this is how I rank these guys talent wise. Knile Davis got a big bump today because I watched a lot more video on him, and his combine numbers are just too hard to overlook. He is the right size, has more than average speed and quickness, clearly.... He has some things to change, needs to run lower, ball security, but I think if any RB out of the "dark horse" group is going to jump to the, let's say, 1.02 fantasy rookie drafts, I could see Davis being that kind of NFL Draft Day event changer.

  did not hear this, all I've heard is great things. but to me, it's great news.. the cheaper I can get him the better..

  Ball security is huge. All of seen of him is the film you have on your analysis page - 3 fumbles in 1 game. Not good.

  this kind of came out of no-where...I thought he was ahead of schedule with a chance to play this year.  I guess with this news he should fall in the 2nd round of rookie drafts.  I am still high on him and hope to be getting him later than expected.  The size and speed of Davis is incredible...hope he gets a good landing spot.

  Davis does have plenty of nice youtube clips... But the dude just can't stay healthy. He needed a workout warrior thpe performance at the combine to get some swag back... He did just that.
  
  The knock I have on Davis is his lean forward running style which throws off his balance. If he can get coached up, he could fix that and run with more balance.

  Yep, still high on him, but his rookie draft ADP helps us not reach for him. Many won't want to wait for him. It did come out of nowhere, and the NFL Network covered this story very differently. Disappointing how different the two reports have been, Dr Andrews' and NFL Network's...

  You could be right, however, I think Lacy is way more upright than Davis. That said, I can't say you don't have valid arguments. Given the speed scores and all the quickness, I think I take the chance in the 3-4 range, unless I'm set on a WR after first back or two is gone. Again, Lacy could move to my No. 1 or 2 spot if no other backs get good landing spots, but then you may see me more interested in a WR at the 1.01, because I only move Lacy up by default if his landing spot is solid. I will still carry with me the doubts I have no matter what, but situation is more than half the battle.

  I like speed score. It is very interesting and it shows how much more of a complete back that Davis is over the others to a point (besides fumbling) but one guy who had a similar speed score to Davis was Jackie Battle.. Let hope Davis doesn't follow in his path.

  Great read Smitty. To me he looks like McFadden. And it's ironic they both went to Arkansas. I might take him with my 1.4 if he's there.

  Just revisited some games on Bell... The man is a load to bring down... Bell in a power run scheme has a chance to do good things because he follows his lead blocker well. He struggles when moving laterally, can't beat defenders to the outside, which he tries a lot. I saw a lot of dancing at the line of scrimmage, a bit hesitant.
  Again, landing spot will be crucial... Needs to be in a power scheme to succeed, he'll fail in zone blocking scheme since he's not a very decisive runner and struggles to get outside. He does follow his lead block well.
  Love his pass catching skills.
  Lastly, I'm concerned about him staying healthy, runs a bit wreck less at times and virtually every run he takes a beating (also gives a beating) seems to be a magnet for contact and his high pad level doesn't help the cause.

  Bell kind of reminds me of Delone Carter or a poor-man's Mendenhall.  He's got some game, I'm just not sure if it translates to the NFL
