Told ya this one was more "deep, deep sleeper" like :)

This one is a deep sleeper for sure, but Im not surprised to see him on this list. Theres been a bit of buzz in the FF community about him over the past few monthes. I don't own him in a single league, but I may have to work on changing that as he is relatively cheap :)

Just an idea of what he is going for, I just got #7, Hankerson and 3.11 rookie pick for the 2.04 rookie pick

#7 is my RB4/5 I like that a lot :)

i think #7 is too deep to be realistic. we all know situation is everything, but if it comes down to "if all the planets align perfectly then this guy could be something big" then people would be drafting Toby Gerhard. anyone anywhere at anytime could be thrust into a good situation, but then we're just getting into the hot potato aspect of fantasy football, whoever is lucky enough to be holding a useless commodity that suddenly blows up. at that point you can throw darts on a board and whoever it lands on you can talk yourself into "well, if X player gets hurt then my guy can put up elite #'s". i like the other selections, not crazy about this one but i'm ready to be proven wrong!

I could see him emerging this season...at the very least he will likely play a much larger role. Hes one of the reasons I traded the other guy thats the starter there. Gerhardt was not drafted ahead of the AP like this guy was drafted over the starter there. And no one can take AP off the field as he is one of the greatest of all time. Terrible comparison IMO. It wouldnt take too much for #7 to get a shot or play a larger role.

I like it, picked him up week 9 last year

I have him in a couple leagues and I like him better than the other back they have. I like the call

well HA i had that thought procees in the past and lost out does Smitty hit everyone 100% no but he is better than most ...I will take his advice and buy early than overpay in the future..I got Cruz in the 4th rd of a fa/rookie draft the next year he went off!!!! i doubted smitty on Foster and missed out on him the 8th rd when i should have drafted him night mares to this date....my point being is Smitty is better than most!

i think where advice would best be useful, at least for me, is which Pit RB to own; is Harris the RB to have in Green Bay; is J Bell going to overtake Leshoure in PPR leagues; is Rivers going to bounce back - that sort of stuff. but a RB who's a firm #2 on a RBBC team, that's just pure luck. i'm prepared to be proven wrong,i like all the other selections, trust me. some things are too deep to even be useful. i guess #7 is this year's Jaquizz Rodgers.

I think, as JR said, this is a little different than being suggested.Vereen was the highest drafted back, and yes, it's deep, I admit that, so was Victor Cruz. In fact, Victor Cruz was deeper back in 2010 when he was NO. 10 on this list. He was laughed at. He wasn't even the team's No. 3. I'm not saying I can control what NE does, but I think it's important to point out that you will still get all of the things you're asking about, who are the better backs to down in DET, is Harris the starter in GB... no one is suggesting you won't get that info in all that we do, which is provide crazy-hardcore year-round advice... however, it's important to understand that this one single feature, separate from all that you're speaking of, is me sitting down and looking at every single fantasy football player on a list... and I am single handedly pulling out 10 guys that I feel can outperform their current values more than anyone else, or at least make such an impact they just jump out off the page. Vereen was one. Yes, Rodgers was one last year, sometimes the situations don't workout, sometimes the players don't... These are 10 Bold predictions, landing even half would be positive.

So, Vereen may seem too deep for you, but remember that is just 1 of 10. Only 2-3 of these guys will be extremely, extremely deep, but dismissing Vereen because he is buried on the depth chart comes with the same risks as dismissing Cruz from my Top 10 Bold Predictions list back in 2010. I was asked, "why did Cruz make this list, he is such a reach?".. he wasn't even drafted back then... at least Vereen is a 9th-12th round pick :)

All in all, I can't control who jumps out at me, nor would I want to control it. Sometimes these deep calls, if landed, are the most impacting. Those who added Cruz off waivers, or drafted him at the tailend of drafts, imagine how good those teams look now adding that entire stud at almost no cost. Landing Sleepers is what we do... and again, you're still going to get all that J Bell and Leshoure advice, this one feature won't be standing in the way of that :)

hey, i'm prepared to eat crow. the upside baord to me is one of the most valuable features of this site. we all read the same magazines and get all the same info, so these name you come up with are off the beaten path, i'm all in.

Well, I usually eat crow on more than a few, but i make them bold for a reason. Easy predictions help you guys zero. I expect to miss at least half of these, but not always because I'm wrong, like in the case of Cruz in 2009... i predicted his rise then... it didn't happen. Pead's last year... didn't happen. Sometimes I'm a year early, sometimes coaches prove me wrong all together, but honestly, I think even in most of those cases, the coaches don't know what they have (like in Ja. Rodgers' case).
