Declared for the 2012 draft (as a redshirt sophomore) after just one year of carrying the load, in which was a solid year.
Many folks, including myself had Miller going much higher in the NFL draft than where he actually went, 4th rd. A shoulder injury may have resulted in him falling to the 4th, but had Miller stood another year in college, he could have easily been the first RB drafted this year over guys like Ball and Lacy.
The stage is now set for Lamar Miller to have an excellent season as an NFL starting RB.
Nice post Smitty!
