For my taste, yeah, but he could earn that value. Could being the key word. I draft four straight backs now, and if Hopkins lands in a great situation, I'm really liking him mixed in with those backs... Until the draft, though, RBs are all I touch from 1.01-1.04.

Thanks Smitty i am extremely high on patterson but that just seems a little too high for my taste as well.. i guess we will see landing spots...

Ahhh finally an expert rookie draft. Something valid to look forward too.

Austin is a steal from this point on.

So I'm up, what are you guys thinking? Here were the last two picks:

1.01 1. @GregBrosh Lacy, Eddie FA RB (R)

1.02 2. @JDBeckler Patterson, Cordarrelle FA WR (R) See some mocking him to the Panthers and that seems like a good fit for him. Wherever he ends up he should make an impact.

1.03 3. @JeffRatcliffe Bernard, Giovani FA RB (R)

1.04 4. @Orca_DFW Hopkins, DeAndre FA WR (R) The three players I would consider picking before Hopkins are off the board. I'm not comfortable with the available running backs and I think Hopkins is ready to contribute to his NFL team week 1.

1.05 5. @Ladd_Davies Ball, Montee FA RB (R) I may be in the minority, but I like Ball quite a bit. Especially if he lands in the right situation, he could become a solid NFL rusher. (Comments Added Mon Mar 25 11:36:54 p.m. ET 2013)

1.06 6. @WildThingFB Randle, Joseph FA RB (R) I really like Randle's prospects to contribute from Day 1 in the NFL. He can catch passes, can block and has a fantastic burst of speed.

1.07 7. DraftCalc on the clock!

I love both Davis and Bell, but thinking NFL teams love Bell more, which means situation... so I'm leaning Bell. Thoughts?

i personally like Ellington out of rbs left(would love if he added a few pounds though) but between those two I think id pick bell.. Davis has a fumbling issue to work on

Wow, way too high for Randle IMO.

I'd consider Allen and Austin here.

I don't think many NFL teams even know how talented this runner is. In the right spot, we could be looking at the Doug Martin of this year's draft.

1.08 8. @evansjo5 Austin, Tavon FA WR (R) Tue Mar 26 12:14:09 a.m. ET 2013 He's a human highlight reel. And tough -- never missed a game. More Welker than Amendola that way, but with Harvin quicks. Probably fell because special teams TDs don't count in this scoring system.

Like the bell pick...and davis would also been a nice pick as well..man tons of solid players in this draft.. I gotta get some more 2nds

I think LaVon Bell gives hope to owners of a late pick, great selection.

I like the Bell pick Smitty. I almost thought you might consider a WR there.
