MikeOcherts said:Cobb: Accoring to FFC he is being drafted @ 3.08 as the 9th WR off the board. That has him firmly in WR1 territory which is too high for me. Love the kids skill set but even with Jennings gone there are still a lot of other mouths to feed in GB (Nelson, Jones & Finley) & Rodgers doesn't seem to force the ball to anyone. Would anyone be shocked if Nelson out scored him next year? I wouldn't...
I don't like Ball's nfl prospects either. big 10 backs don't translate into the nfl as a whole. of the 32 nfl teams 1 might have a big 10 back as a starter.(mendenhall) big 10 has slow stiff defenders which help these rb's look good in college. big 10 teams have dominant o-lines which help make the running backs look better. besides eddie george, shonn green and marion barber name a big 10 back in the last 15-20 years to make at least 2 pro bowls, or have 2 -1000 yard seasons. i can't come up with one, maybe i'm missing somebody. mike alstott as a fullback had better rushing numbers than most big 10 tailbacks. i avoid them like the plague.haimez40 said:Montee Ball, people will draft him being a hot rookie name and I don't expect him to do much at all. I won't draft him. Denver, Washington, and Houston are the only spots I would trust him and he won't start for any of those teams, nor most likely be the back up. His speed drops too much when he cuts for the NFL imo.
