Daryl Washington isn’t concerned how the Cardinals will fare without him when he begins serving a four-game suspension to begin the regular season.
Washington’s next scheduled court appearance is Tuesday, and there is a chance he could be facing further punishment from the league once that case plays itself out.
“Right now I’m pretty confident it’s just going to be the four games,” said Washington, who tried to appeal his initial suspension because of what he called a “misunderstanding.”
“But I’ll still have 12 games hopefully to prove myself and still get to the Pro Bowl. That’s my goal, to come back and prove myself all over again.”
