Live Real Expert Dynasty Start-Up Draft (DraftCalc drafting from 1.01)

I'm likely going Trent Richardson. Everyone knows he is my 1.01 in all formats, and I have no problem reaching. I could trade down a bit, and may try, so I'll keep you posted. Where it's going to get interesting is at my 2.12 and 3.01, and if I can do my usual trading up from rounds 4 and 5. :)

Fresh ADP data, for dynasty, has T-Rich at 1.01 or 1.02. I'm not chancing it, I want him as my building block. Going TRich, but you can bet I'm trying to trade up with my 4th and 5th.

Alfred Morris at the 1.05? Woh. Makes me feel good about my team, but I think that is to high.

Yeah, that's like over a round earlier than I expected, and I wouldn't even love taking Morris in the second. I mean, he deserves being selected there due to talent, he earned it no doubt, I guess I just don't trust Shanny enough to pass on some other second-round players.

agreed way tooo early.

Had a feeling Taz was gonna go TE/TE when he took Graham at 1.11. Been there - done that - not ever doing it again. :)

Wow, the double TE? The leagues has a flex, but only 1TE required spot. Not something I'd do.

Like I said, Doggie, been there - done that - never again. I don't mind taking one high. My thoughts were the advantage I'd have at TE and Flex (assuming they both produce optimally) would be worth the chance. Problem is, when they didn't....I was in a world of hurt. If they get 300pts each, I think you can be okay, but that's not how it worked out for me. I've had much better success trading back as far as humanly possible (to the 4th round if possible) and getting a ton of 4th-7th round picks. I've done it twice and won the inaugural league both times. Most recently was in Instant Classics with a bunch of DCers and I ended up not only winning the league, but getting an extra 1st and 2nd round rookie pick this year and in 2014. ;)

Of course, I don't see AP slipping to 4.1 in many leagues this year like he did in our inaugural draft (http://football21.myfantasyleague.com/2012/options?L=74998&O=17). \m/

As I mentioned, though, the TE/TE approach....not so bueno. [-X

Thought you would have moved back and taken Spiller...1.07 was a steal. Morris was a dumb pick.
