So I made some moves to get a second 1st round pick because I need WRs and was pretty deep at RB.
I know that with my 1.06 I'll take the best of Austin/Hopkins/Cordarelle. I assume ONE will be there. Bell, Ball and Gio have to go early, I think, maybe Lacy too.
So, with a 1 ppr league, 12-man dynasty, standard scoring, starting QB-RB-RB-RB-WR-WR-WR-WR-FLEX-TE-K-D, what wr would you take at 1.10?
My team: (starters in BOLD)
Kaep
Freeman
ASmith
Weeden
RBush
SJax
LMiller
DThomas
Pead
DRichardson
Felix Jones (may drop)
Bryce Brown (trying to trade to McCoy owner)
Andre Brown (trying to trade to Wilson owner)
I hear good things about Dobson getting love in NEP, but thought Allen was the #4 WR overall, solid #2 in SDC. I like Hunter a lot, but TEN isn't a great spot. Woods should be the #2 in BUF, but qb issues. Wheaton in PITT looks good, too.
HELP! Thoughts? Thanks.

I'd go in this order with the 1.10 thinking WR:
Allen
Woods
Dobson
Hunter
Wheaton

does it matter who i get with the 1.06? for example, if i get cordarelle at 1.06, who may not contribute a lot this year, would you take dobson at 1.10 where he's supposed to get a lot of attention? whereas if i got hopkins, take allen/woods? i'd like one of my two picks to possibly start this year. or does the 1.10 order stay the same no matte who i get at 1.6?
if say all three of those top wrs go before 1.06 and i take a rb, does that change anything?

It wouldn't change anything for me... looks like you're pretty set on taking a WR at 1.06 and 1.10... one of Austin, Patterson or Hopkins should be there at 1.06... at 1.10 it's all about BPA, and the order is how I prefer them.

Side note -- I would drop edleman before I would drop Streater

well, i need wrs more than i need rbs. but if one of bell, ball or gio falls to 6 i'd take them there. not sold on lacey. if lattimore was there at 10, i'd have to take him. so, it's not 100% wr-wr, but i definitely WANT to take one of Austin, Patterson, or Hopkins at 6. i'm okay at TE, so no need for Eifert at 10.
thanks, lummox. there are two streeter/streators, so you're big on the OAK wr not the BALT wr?

If Hopkins is there at 6 you take him. At 10 I would simply take BPA. No rookie is a lock for starting time. IMO rookie drafts should be BPA always regardless of need. The only time need should enter the equation is if you have two guys on the same tier then need can break the tie.

I like the upside of both Streeter (BAL) and Streater (Oak) more than Edelman
