Day 2 of chiefs camp and not a single run play?

I owned shady last year and got screwed by Reid wanting to pass so much....(which was a horrible plan) Charles just got knocked out of my first round choices for redraft.

Really.. Because of camp.. Day 2 at that...

Today at camp this happened

Osweiler gets a deep td pass to running back jeremiah johnson it looks like.

Better go get Johnson..

I love it in a PPR for Charles!

Reid was also quoted saying Reid is going to have to pull the trigger "A LOT" this year. Much more than he has. Reid ruined McCoys year last year and I'm afraid he'll do it with charles

You sure McCoy missing 4.5 games didn't have something to do with that? Or Mike Vick turning the ball over 9387476 times(Thats 9387476 TD opportunities missed)? Or having one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL? Or the fact that McCoy himself fumbled the ball 4 times?

You're right, it was all Reid.

Had he not had that concussion, his numbers put into a 16game season woulda been 278 Carries, 1168 Rushing yard, 75 Rec, 518 Receiving Yards, 7Tds = 285.6 pts in PPR

Throw in the 24 Turnovers the QBs had that could've been more Yards/TDs for McCoy I don't think Reid is the one to blame here

Yeah Reid running backs have always had plenty of fantasy value, especially in ppr. Charles is going to be getting plenty of looks, many of them bumping your score up a point from the moment the ball hits his hands.

Okay I didn't have his stats up in front of me. Sorry for not being well informed. I just remember 2-3 instances last year when the eagles would throw 4+ picks in a game instead of handing the ball to shady. And he was on my team so I'm sittin here like "....wtf Andy....?" There were games where I feel like Reid hampered shady's production.

Eagles were a dumpster fire last year. The team quit pretty early on. Look what 2011 McCoy did. Also, Alex Smith is going to be dumping off on every other play

Andy does pass a lot when a run would suffice, but look at the year Charles had last year and several games he got under 10 carries. Charles is at-least top 5 player this barring injury. I think he will be top rb once year is done.

I agree with you. But It's hard to score when you throw 4+ picks a game. I mean that's how they got down a lot of the time I felt like.

I actually hope that they use him more in the passing game, let him use his speed and agility. Also get him in space and avoid the big hits running the ball.

Alex Smith will be dumping off to Charles precisely for this reason. He's a game manager. The only way he's been able to keep a job in the NFL is by not making egregious errors. Vick is the opposite. His talent and athleticism allow him to keep a job despite his IQ falling somewhere between Forrest Gump and Mike Tyson.

I believe smith will show people this.season he isnt just a game manager

You call him a game manager. Who did he have to throw to? You say he dumps the ball consistently? He has an 8.0 yd per passing attempt. Higher than Brees, Brady, Newton, Rodgers & Ryan.

I'm an advocating Alex Smith as a top 10 fantasy QB but he's more than capable of running Reid's offense. To me, this means Charles is headed for an awesome year.

Reading that smith is loving himself some kelce. Glad I got him in the 20th
