E.J. Manuel: Rob Chudzinski says I remind him of Cam Newton

Thoughts on this guy?

He has been consistently growing on me ever since Bills drafted him and read some news that I found funny about Kolb tweaking his knee by slipping on wet mat.

I think Manuel earns the job during preseason and that the Bills will have pretty explosive offense this year, see Manuel in that top 10-15 range for QBs

He's been lighting up camp so far, I still think the Bills plan to start of with Kolb but it won't be long before EJ takes over.. He's the best QB in the rookie draft, I could see him being a top 15 maybe even top 10 QB when he plays... I've even seen some experts saying he could be better then Kaep(thats a stretch IMO.. maybe eventually but not this year)

Definitely only rookie QB that I have any interest in this year, he's very cheap right now too. I've heard comparisons to Cam, forget from who but loving his potential as a rookie. Spiller would probably benefit more with Manuel out there too I feel like. To think about it I'm really liking the bills draft this year

The Bills are going to be a completely different team this year... Running 100% no huddles in practice for 2+ hours straight. This team is going to be fast fast fast!

Drafted him in round 2! This years Russell Wilson in my opinion! Will break out by mid-season!

EJ may be starting earlier than that. Just heard on NFL network that get this.......Kolb hurt his knee walking out to the field for practice. That's right, WALKING out to the field.

I don't think Manuel compares that favorably to either Newton or Wilson. Newton has better speed and a more accurate arm. Wilson is a much more accurate passer.

That being said, if and when he replaces Kolb, I think he could be a top 20-25 QB. I just don't think he is that terrific.

Quarterback E.J. Manuel met with the Browns in Cleveland last week and then had another private workout with the team on Saturday at Florida State and Manuel says that Browns coach Rob Chudzinski wasn’t shy about comparing Manuel with the quarterback that Chudzinski coached in Carolina for the last two years.

Bills will shock people this year, they will win a lot of games!

I got him late in rd 2 as well. Personally I think it will take him a year to get use to the NFL game. Next year I could see him as a qb in the 15-20 range, maybe a little higher.

I wouldn't be surprised either. They are putting together a nice team.

Lets hope so

I like him better than Cam - he seems like a better person, don't like Cam's attitude and not sure if that attitude will reverse his upward trajectory - just don't see Cam getting better, whereas Manuel seems like he is a character guy, will work hard to get better and his teammates will like him!
