  Not the greatest back-up QB. But he's gotta be better than Graham Harrell and BJ Coleman. What's your thoughts on this Packer fans?

  He can't be worse than what they have. Roto reported tat they will sign him so the defense can practice against a mobile, dual threat type of qb. They have Kaep and RG3 the first 2 weeks. It's a good idea if true.

  I do think it makes sense to give the D the best preparation for the type of QB they'll face early. Don't see any other purpose here...move on!

  1: they're going to use him in practice to help the defense Vs. read option.. Which we all seen last year vs. SF in the playoffs, they need it.

  
  

  2: Have you seen GBs backup QBS? They're complete trash! If Rodgers were to get another concussion that team would be SCREWED! I wouldn't count on them to win 1 game without Rodgers. You may or may not like Young, but he's a hell of a lot better then what they had!

  I get the "defense vs read option" part of your thought process but if Rodgers were to go down to injury, Young isn't stepping in and winning anything in GB IMO.  They would be better off looking for a better option than Young if you ask me.

  I disagree. While Young isn't going to be Rodgers, he offers more than what they had behind Rodgers. Plus he should be able to do enough to pull out a few games. Will they make the Super Bowl with him, no. But they will be more competitive than with Harrell or Coleman.
