  Gore is old. Kendall Hunter has already shown he can be a starter in the NFL. The guy is special. he's a bowling ball with speed and quicks. He went to the same college as barry Sanders and Thurman Thomas (since people like to compare people who went to the same colleges as any kind of talent evaluation/prediction).

  My problem is AP and CJ are getting up there in usage and Jones/Cobb/Smith have no injury history and have 6-7 years left minimum. I LOVE Vereen, but you have to factor in the WHOLE TEAM.

  
  

  Plus a 2nd Rd pick is no slouch. You can get a legit stud in that round very easily.

  
  

  I personally say no with the 2nd, and I have no problem saying no. Weeden does not wow me and Gordon is showing huge maturity and character issues, as well as being on a run first team.....

  
  

  Counter with the 3rd if you don't think Hunter can be a starter.

  This post is confusing as heck.  So, Hunter is the future in SF but they drafted Lattimore?  You would do the deal if it was a 3rd round pick but not the 2nd? You do realize that Gordon, character concerns or not, is a WR1 who holds quite a bit more value that Hunter and any combination of 2nd or 3rd round draft picks, right?  Or maybe the rest of us are all wrong and you nailed it with your post, lol.
