  Saints WR Joe Morgan has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus and partially torn ACL and is done for the season.

  Morgan injured his knee in Saturday's scrimmage, and he received a second opinion on the knee Tuesday. The heavy favorite for the No. 3 receiver role in the Saints' high-powered aerial attack, Morgan was poised for a breakout year after averaging a mind-boggling 37.9 YPR on ten catches last season. The 25-year-old will look to regain his explosive speed next season. Steve Breaston and fifth-rounder Kenny Stills will compete for the No. 3 role.

  such bad news, I was expecting to steal him late in drafts.  I guess this year Breaston is the week to week pray for a TD from the Saints on bye week guy.  I don't think they signed him to ride the bench behind the raw guys myself.  Honestly I don't care and own Brees so I hope they all do well.

  Yea, if I were drafting I would choose Toon/Stills/Hakim in that order.......but worth keeping an eye on in the preseason nonetheless.

  Yep, Lance was gonna get his no matter what IMO. I like Toon if he can stay healthy.

  I've managed to avoid most of the major injuries/suspensions. Even trading Crabs/Harvin before they were injured. Haven't been so lucky in the DC SC league. Blackmon with the suspension, then DX/Morgan with ACLs in a 24hr period. Yuck!
