My latest Redraft Squad!!! Wow!

QB: RG3, Tannehill
RB: Miller, Wilson, DRich, Vereen, Gio
WR: AJG, Julio, Dez, Garçon, Hilton, Britt
TE: Cook

Drafted at 1.10 in a 10 team league! Thought I'd try and attack AJ, Dez and Julio at my position if Julio fell that far...and for some reason I was able to snag him at 3.10. I then took Wilson at 4.01. I waited patiently in the hope that I could get both RG3 at 5.10 and Lamar at 6.01...and guess what? I got em'!

Things just seem to pan out well for me but a couple things I noticed through my redrafts this year;

Ppl are not buying Julio...
Ppl are scared of RG3 and simply don't believe in him at all...
Lamar is seen as quite simply a 'sleeper' rather than someone we can draft with confidence, yet he is a lock to be #1 in Miami...
Wilson is still a RB that ppl don't believe in. Similar to Lamar in that ppl have no confidence. Both Wilson and Lamar will be #1 for their respective teams and neither have do e anything to suggest they won't be. Similarly, neither runners competition for carries have instilled any reason not to believe in them...

So, of the 7 redrafts I've completed so far...I have;
Julio in all of them and consistently late 2nd early 3rd
I have Lamar in all of them early 6th to late 7th...
I have taken RG3 consistently in the 5th or later..
DRich is a RB that ppl can grab late in drafts yet looks likely to have a very good shot at RB2 numbers...

That's awesome drafting! How did you pull Garçon, Hilton, Vereen and Gio though? One of those guys had to have gone in the tenth which is awesome value. Not to mention Britt too. WR triumvirate of AJG, Julio and Dez is just not fair lol.

Yep, this is a $30 buy-in league that we play every year. I'm in a couple leagues with these same blokes, a 5 player keeper league which has been going on 8 years (my keepers are in my sig) and a full IDP Dynasty league that's been going on 5 years. We also play this money redraft league every year! The two keeper/dynasty leagues have a couple of other people but are essentially the same crew.

I've copped a fair amount of criticism from these blokes this year in that when they were taking RBs early I was taking WR's an in the middle rounds I was taking RBs and they were taking WR's. I copped it for my Miller, Wilson and RG3 picks and also my Britt choice later in the draft. But these blokes obviously aren't DC Members...this place and you blokes are my secret weapon! I remember these same guys called me out hen I drafted Cam in the 12th round a couple years ago...I won the league that year! They also called me out on drafting Victor Cruz in the 3rd to last rd. Victor and another RB of questionable talent got me Arian Foster when Cruz started going off! Thanks to this place and Smitty's outlandish Bold Predictions I've been able to completely go against what these predict i'm going to do and the results are there in black an white! They take the predictable and they stay with the general consensus rather than challenging that system and looking for value! I think the DC way, the value based drafting and identifying where you can reap the rewards are much better...but then you also have to remember that i'm constantly scouring and commenting the forums and articles here...This place truly is ahead of the curve. Of course Lamar and Wilson are yet to do anything but i'm quietly confident that even if they only slightly outplay to there draft positions, which as #1 RBs for their respective they should do easily, then I've got a squad that will be incredibly hard to beat. If RG3 can get through unscathed, he'll be Top 5-7 at QB...minimum.
