What to do with the 1.01 and 1.02.

Made a lot of moves to get up to the 1.01 and the 1.02. So who do I take? Is it as simple as Bell and Ball? I had to lose a RB to get up here, now I only have TWO. Are any of the WRs worth it here, Austin or Hopkins?

1 ppr dynasty league, 20 man roster, we start QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-FLEX-TE-K-D.

My team (starters as it sits in bold)

    Luck
    Kaep
    Dalton

    MJD
    Wilson

    AJGreen
    Wayne
    Bowe

    Moore
    CShorts
    Hill
    Quick
    BLloyd

    Witten
    Chandler

    Bears D

    K

    SO, Bell and Ball?

What did you trade to get 1.01?  I would take Ball and Bell with 1.01 and 1.02.  They are top 2 in this draft IMO and hold more value than Austin or Hopkins.

I would go bell and ball, that way you know you got the right one.
    Qb: R.Wilson
    Rb: D.Wilson, A.Brown, D.Rich, M.Leshoure, M.Reece
    Wr: AJGreen, J.Jones, J.Edelman
    Te: Pitta
    1.08, 1.12, 2.05, 2.12 (20 man dynasty)

I go Bell and Ball, as MJD may not be around much longer.
    Team 1
    QB: Brady, Kaepernick
RB: McCoy, Miller, Stacy,F. Jackson, Lattimore, R. Jennings, Gerhart, L. Murray
    WR: Cruz, Blackmon, Gordon, Jeffery
    TE: J. Thomas

Will have to drop to 12 before draft
    Team 2
    QB: Peyton, Keenum, Glennon, Cousins
RB: Spiller, Ball, Miller, Moreno, Pierce, Polk, Todman, Randle
WR: Marshall, Gordon, Jeffery, Jennings, Austin, Hartline, Matthews, Sanders
TE: M. Bennett, Cook, L. Green

    Very easy decision here.

It was a lot of moves. I really was only trying to get up to get Eifert from my 1.11 to the 1.08-1.10 range.

Gave Moreno + 1.11 to the McGahee owner to get 1.10 and BLloyd (probably drop him) - DEN RBBC is crowded.
Gave Bryce Brown + 1.11 to the McCoy owner to get the 1.08 - BB didn't have a ton of value to me.
Gave the 1.08 + 2.11 for the 1.02. Steal, IMO.
Gave Gore, Kendall and Hartline + 3.11 for the 1.01 and 2.01. Pains me, but I think Gore is going to hit a wall. Trade while he has value. Just got hurt in camp. Hartline was my #5 wr.

So, did I screw myself here? I think I have to go RB/RB. With the 2.01 maybe Eifert won't be there, but it's him or a scrappy WR, I think—Allen, Dobson or Hunter.

***also, Chris Ivory is on the WW. Plus maybe Lattimore falls, or Zac Stacy.

lol...i never know. i'm terrible at trading players that are old in dynasties. i couldn't get ANYTHING for Wayne last year, and he ended up being the #8 wr.

yeah, so GlassJoe did make me an offer. might as well post it up here. it's not bad, just not sure if i can do anything OTHER than take RB/RB at 1/2 since i'm down to MJD/Wilson.

    here's the offer

    He gives MForte RB + MBush RB + ABrown WR + 1.11 + 3.10 + 4.10 + 2014 1st (he usually does well, so i expect this to be 1.09-1.12)
    for
    1.01 + 1.02 + LMoore + 2014 2nd

thoughts? I like Forte (he's trying to play up my Chicago homer side) and I think Brown is good, not sure if he's a stud #1. it's a good offer, but i may just be fixated on Bell/Ball now.

Sidenote....Wicker is a HUGE Bears homer.  Huge!  Huge!  Worse than me and my Cowgirls.

I'm only making offers because he said I couldn't get the 1.1 and 1.2 from him.  Just don't want to mess with my core team (Brees/Spiller/Calvin/Graham/Gronk).  We only start 2RB/2WR/1TE and a flex, so I'm kind of locked into flexing TE.  Leaves me playing Forte and ABrown at my last two spots.  I think the trade probably hurts me this year and helps me after that, but I mainly just want to screw with the Kat....

^^lol. yeah, too funny. i said "no way i'm even entertaining offers" and then you sent this over and i was like, "huh. that's not a bad offer." dammit.

I did it on purpose.  It's not insulting, but I knew that DCNation would say "no way."  Some other places/people do not regard rookies that highly and would have jumped on it (I guess with Spowell hangs out), but I knew your Bears homerism would tempt you.  It's a trade I'd make all day, one that could backfire or help (I'd probably have to go RB/WR and would, thus, trade down or out of the 1.1 or 1.2).  But, since I love trading and these are all $30 leagues, I didn't really give a flip.  I'd rather have fun than overthink everything.  ;)

Those 2 trades are ridiculous and what the hell is Chris Ivory doing on the WW?  What kind of league is this exactly?

Anyhow, whenever 99% of people say to do something, I seem to always run the other way and be the contrarian.  People at this site are enamored with Ball and Bell.  Almost to the point of fanaticism.  I think Bell landed in a good situation, but isn't all that talented.  I think Ball is kind of in the same boat and has John Fox as his HC.  If Bernard landed in Denver or Pitt, people here would be all over him like a fat kid in a candy store.  Bottom line, is that you should go with talent.  I think one of your picks has to be Austin.  Wayne isn't getting any younger and if Austin comes out to produce like Cobb or Harvin, you'll be a very happy camper.  After that, I would take a HB and it doesn't really matter who.  Personally, I'd probably go with Bernard because I don't think you need him this season and starting next yr I think he'll be the better player over both Ball and Bell.  But that's just me.

Oh, my.  A contrarian.  So what do you make of my offer, DV?  Should WickityWick accept and enjoy cheering for his hometown RB week in and week out?  (BTW, I'd probably go with L.Bell and D.Hopkins if I had the two picks on my team as I'm not convinced Austin is Cobb-y enough for me...).

yeah, i've been eyeballing Austin all year. seems to be less loved here. if i didn't have only TWO rbs on my roster (total) i might take him there.

i was offered JStew and 1.03 for Wilson, btw, but that's a BIG NO. even that same offer for MJD feels weak. but i'd love to get that 1.03 as well.

thanks for chiming in, defiant. Ivory is on the WW because we only keep 20 players. i think he was the #3 in NOS? he was there at the end of last
year, and so this is the first shot at him. doubt i'll be able to get him at 2.01, but you never know. and yes, if Gio was in DEN/PITT i agree, people
would be all over him. i've watched a little tape on Bell/Ball and i do like them both. tough call.
