Matt McGloin rumors don't wig you out at all? I kind of believe them, but only cause it is the Raiders. If Eagles really did drop Vick I would think Raiders would be first in line.

Smitty, if the coaches in Cincy are the only thing holding you back from Gio, then why did you go all-in on the Montee Ball hype train? John Fox has always been a RBBC coach and has always had a hard time trusting rookies. Seems to me the only difference between Ball and Gio is that Ball will get GL carries and Gio won't, however, Gio will double, perhaps triple Ball in receptions to make up for it. And that's just this year. When BJGE goes bye-bye next year, Gio will get the GL carries and therefore his longterm stock should have a higher ceiling as well. And lastly, Gio has much less wear on his body than Ball does.

The Bengals will draft the next "Bell" next year to replace BJGE, they aren't going to trust their goal line to a 204 pounder for the next 5 years - Gio will always be just about to be the man, then they'll find a Hillis or BJGE and preserve Gio for the little screen passes so he can go run out of bounds for a few years!

Didn't I see somewhere in the forums that Marvin Lewis actually prefers plodders? Why get rid of BJGE when he is the definition of a plodder.

Green Ellis is 28 and a plodder, next year turning 29 they will draft for his replacement to develop the next guy I would think!

His best years won't come for a few more years when Gio is a major part of Cincy's offense.

Lol! I do - Bell is in the best situation and I believe he will be very good! I'm comparing his 3 backs to the 3 I will draft collectively!
