  Pierce is every bit as good as Rice talent wise. That is already clear. We shall see what BAL does once Pierce shines a bit. I doubt they trade Rice this year, but anything can happen.

  Has he done anything yet? I've been watching nfl redzone and they LITERALLY have not shown the ravens on offense this half

  Rice has a huge roll in the BALT offense regardless. Even if Pierce goes off and earns more time, Rice will be fine. He will be used that much more in the passing game being split out wide and used on screen plays, ect.   I agree that Rice will be integral to that offense when he's healthy but it'd be easy to make an argument that Pierce had more to do with the successful Super Bowl run than Rice.
  
  

  
  
  I respectfully disagree. Rice makes an impact simply from being on the
  field. He makes Defenses stay honest. There are few players in the world
  who have the combo or power, speed, vision, hands, blocking ability,
  ect, ect. Make no mistake, Ray Rice was a HUGE reason BALT wont it all.

  personal opinion, he didn't look all that great yesterday. I played him and if not for the TD would have been useless

  That's the case with many guys though. It's usually the TD that puts them over the top. It was 1 long TD that made Stephen Hill break out this week.

  I wasn't overly impressed with Pierce as well. The td did help, but his numbers weren't great. But i also think he needs more time to getting it going.

  Pierce is definitely a nice play if Rice is out. It's a reach if he is playing. Rice is still a dynamic tough back that will remain the rb1 if healthy.
  
  Pierce didn't really impress me as explosive yesterday. I will say the Ravens formations were double te run the clock & they knew he was getting the ball. He ran hard & was effective. ( just wasn't much spacing to do much )

  The TD was second try from 1 yard line after pass interference call. He is nice handcuff but Ravens will never build their team around him.
