3 completions for 83 yards (huge plays) and now a rusing TD. Foles can be a fantasy monster with how fast he can get the ball down field and he doesnt take a pounding like a RGIII or Vick.

I am not disagreeing that he can't be a fantasy monster, he certainly has been impressive so far.  I just want to see him do it over a full season.

Haha...wow didn't think this thread would have this much action.

I watched quite a bit of the Skins/Eagles game yesterday and I came away really impressed with Foles.  He was very decisive throwing the ball, throws a nice ball with zip on it and when need be he can run a little, not blazing fast but enough to escape if need be.

I agree the sample size needs to be larger, but I am impressed.  At the beginning of the year I thought there was no way he wins the job because Kelly's offense requires a running QB, well I think he keeps this job for the rest of the year at the very least.

I think his numbers vs the Skins would have been much better if they hadn't been up 24-0 early in the 3rd quarter.  Felt like they took their foot off the gas and just starting running the ball.

Would you trade for Nick Foles if your QB was Matt Ryan?

It sounds great now but what about when Julio and all of Ryan's weapons come back?

IMO, Ryan is a better QB than Foles and I wouldn't make this trade in dynasty unless I was getting more than just Foles in return for Ryan.  In redraft, I could see this move though.

Coach Chip Kelly told reporters Monday he is committed to Nick Foles as the Eagles' long-term starting quarterback.

"He’s the starting quarterback for the next 1,000 years here," said Kelly. Foles has earned the commitment and then some with a 19:0 TD-to-INT ratio as a passer and 63.3 completion rate through nine appearances. He's rushed for two more scores, and the Eagles have quietly emerged as the NFL's most underrated team. We still wonder if Kelly will use a mid-round draft pick in 2014 on a more mobile signal caller, but Foles' future is obviously shining bright. He's on the cusp of stable QB1 value in Dynasty leagues, and will be an every-week starter during the 2013 fantasy playoffs.

I live in the Philly area and heard Kelly say that quote during his press conference today. It looks good in that little blurb but the way in which he said it is different. He said it just to shut the reporters up. He never committed to foles being the starter next season. For whatever reason Kelly IMO is still not sold on foles. If you are looking to buy in a dynasty just make sure you don't over pay.

I have been impressed....solid, efficient and helps that he has those explosive weapons around him.

If you take the average pts scored in the games he has started, which is 7, he would be avg around 29+ppg  That would have to put him top 5 in ppg, although I haven't checked...just off the top.
