I know what you guys are saying as to who have they really beaten? But they own the right to start as my defense until they prove to me that I shouldn't play them. One thing I've learn in playing fantasy football is never take out your best player because of there opponent!

A def isnt a player though..its a unit that is greatly affected by the matchup. Peyton, DT, Welker, JT, Decker, Moreno...no thanks.

don't get technical on me JR as you know what I mean as never take out your best player, best unit what ever because of their opponent ! If they lose badly then yeah don't play them again in 2 weeks but until then KC needs to prove to me first why I should take them out. Never assume but if you are going to assume that KC will not show up,then sure replace them if that's your cup of coffee! Not me I like mine bold and black! B-)
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Russell Wilson, EJ Manuel, Josh Mckown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Andre Johnson, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE J Reed, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

I'd play them as long as you don't get negative points for points scored against the DST. I think they will get their sacks and maybe an int or two

Sit chiefs this week in Denver & play them in 2 wks @ home. The home/away will b a big difference in these 2 games.

Im not getting technical. You cant treat a def/SP unit or a kicker like a stud QB, RB or WR. Matchup matters especially for def/SP. Not every single player on the KC defensive unit is an elite stud and Peyton will find thoise weak links...especially in Denver. KC hasent even played a team over .500 yet.

No need for anything like that. Its possible that Manning is hurt worse than we know and KC gets 9 or 10 points IMO the smart fantasy play is find the etter matchup this week like the Jets against Buf or the Texans against the Raiders without Pryor.

Looks like Chiefs and Jets were both bad starts. Wish I would have listented to Matt Berry who had me considering NYG D

Peyton's not invincible neither is that O-line.

Im not benching the #1 DST this year for a matchup.  I'm rolling with confidence

Jets for me thanks, I wanna win this week.

Bookmark this thread so that you can revisit it Monday morning and apologize.  Peyton is on one leg, Kansas is feeling disrespected, and they will prove who is the best team in football come Sunday.

So what was I to bookmark or apologize for ??? Riiiiiight.

Donvaughn, I don't think any of us could have seen the G-Men coming of this as the top dogs. But for the love of god, don't praise Matthew Berry on this site. Like Ever. Dude still thinks his Redskins are super bowl contenders, and Mike Vick was number 1 overall worthy. Stay away from Berry. He's poison.

KC def got 1 point in my league. Jets stunk it up too but who would have thought the Bills would do what they did without S Johnson and Woods. The Broncos did what they were supposed to do...the Bills were an anomaly this week. My mistake this week was not playing the Bears, lol.

Well KC has proven to me they can't handle the truth! Now I can only hope Vereen goes off but if not, I'll take it like a man for my 2nd loss for the season. JR I tip my cap to you bud! ;)

well i said it and was horribly wrong, but if its any consolation i benched the bills defense for KC last night so i suffered too.  could likely cost me a division clinching game.

I'm going to put in my signature "do not listen to my start sit advice" lol

Yeah I might mirror that thought process.

I got -1 for them this week. Good thing for me that my opponent failed to set his lineup

Started KC over 49ers defense this week. KC got 2 pts and 49ers 7 pts...wouldn't have made much difference for me in the end. Giants defense was on waiver but I didn't have roster spot. Overall I think KC defense will have more good days than bad days going forward.

The most amazing stat to me was 0 QB knock downs by KCD, not what I expected.
