Ya great season bdd! I saw that on the news last night- tough game. We practiced with Alcoa on Wednesday this week at UT's indoor facility (cuz the weather was nasty and freezing over here this week) and they looked pretty big. That's pretty dirty IMO when teams go up like Alcoa did on you. We never do that. Last night we were up 35-0 at half, and then put out subs in early into the 3rd quarter

Apparently my senior class is the winningest in west history AND has the most class 5a state playoff appearances of any team in Tennessee history! Pretty cool stuff! And to think, my freshman year we only won 3 games..how far we've come

that awesome! Is there any players you see coming out of this class we could see breaking into the college seen?

Maybe..IMO there are about 5 that COULD BE D1. Nathan Cottrell (fastest junior in the Southeast according to nike I think- 4.37 40). Junior

Alex burch (Free Safety but could play wr as well) junior

Cody Underwood- leads East TN in tackles and is a presence for sure at MLB. Senior.

Noah Hoxie- great size and speed for outside LB..leads team history in sacks and is a junior.

Max Bacon- really great kid. Pretty undersized though but I swear to god if there is an Eric berry of high school football, max is it. He makes plays from SS, second on the team in tackles- leads the state in ints (I think..he's definately up there with 8 or 9 I think) and he has take about half of them back for TDs and had a few punt returns. If max grows a few inches, which he may, and gets a little faster he will be a MONSTER at the next level IMO. Great vision. Great moves. SMART player. Junior.

Update!

Game is tomorrow night 8pm Eastern..projected to be the closest of all state championship games. Ice storm expected all night...oh well, last time I'll ever be out there with my buds so we might as well win!
