Walking Dead mid season finale

I hate to complain about anything, the show is just awesome, but is anyone else annoyed curious (annoyed is the wrong turned, the show can't annoy) by the tiny missed details like:

    1) like when they would hold up the fence when walkers were pushing up against it, you would be more worried about your fingers getting bit, and your fingers would be more vulnerable in that situation.
    2) if you can get bit and turn, blood in your eye or on cuts on your hand would turn ya too? Or is it in the saliva?
    3) does anyone notice Darrel never has more than 4-5 arrows, but never runs out?

I hate to rip on it at all, again, one of my favorite shows ever. I guess I just figure I'd focus on some of these details is all :)

    1. Agree

    2. I am kind of fuzzy on this..it's like: if you die, you turn.
If you get bit you, you turn.
But why can't you get bit and just not die and be okay? Because it's not like they don't all have the virus anyway?

    3. They always show him picking them up..I know it doesn't really make sense, but it was the same way for legolas in lord of the rings and I was okay with it then so I'm okay with it now :D
    Bold Predictions:
June 21- Dez Bryant finishes as the #1 WR in 2013.

It's all a theory, but like Daryl said that's not Carol. Who fed the walkers rats at the fence?

The theory I like about the bites is that the walkers mouths are so nasty with germs that's what kills you then the virus takes over.

The fence thing could have been done a little better and agree with the finger concern.

I mean I agree with you. She does seem just 'off' enough to not be a stand out character...typically that's how psychopaths are. Never really too social but they have some overarching moral or theme of life that they see differently then the rest of the world. Maybe that was hinted at by her thinking the zombies were people...idk. I'm no expert, I think it's a great theory though

The only thing that bothered me from last episode is:

When Rick was hiding behind the bus and jumped the gov...why in the heck wouldn't he just shoot him?! He almost died because he wanted to wrestle

Also, have you ever noticed the yards in some of the towns they go to raid, I have neighbors yards that aren't that well kept now, they must need a zombie apocalypse to have them lol that green and cut that short! Lol

1-Smitty on point with the fingers on the fence. I always wondered that too.
2-The virus thing has always been a lil sketchy. Not even everyone on the show understands it. The group didn't even know til that scientist dude told Rick.
3-I use to wonder about the arrows with Daryl, but they usually do a good job of showing him taking the arrow out of someone after he shoots them.
4-that manicured lawns thing is funny. so true
5-yeah what the hell. rick had a gun. should have capped the gov in the good eye.

This should almost be a spoiler alert. This wasn't even on my radar before this thread, but now I'm thinking this is too smart of a storyline not to be the case.

How about the fact that a tank, at least 5 vehicles, and 10 or so people with guns went right passed the bus without looking for/killing Rick first... As soon as the tank broke the fence I thought omg Rick's dead and then they all just pass him by... wtf?

All good points, and like I said, you can do this with a lot of shows. I LOVE 24, but that show is full of "why would they do that if" moments. The fingers on the fence part just bugs me when I see it. It's like, come on, these undeads are just dying to bite ya, and you're gonna lean against and put your hands on the fence?

It's also funny when one of the characters cuts like 5 people's heads off in a row, like not even flinching, but then later on one of those same people are all worried when 2-3 of the walkers are in a room with em? It's just strange when they aren't scared of them and when they are. They are all almost past letting even 4-5 scare any one person even if that one single person is all  by themselves, you know? Then later in some scene everyone is all scared? Like the Governor when he was getting those oxygen tanks.. why the heck was he rushing out? There were like 3-4 for all spaced out and he ran out like a little school girl with one single tank... then later he kills em like they are breakfast.

    lol

Still, can't wait for the second half of the season, this show better last at least 2 more seasons.

agree with the fingers in the fence Smitty. My problem with this past show was the people that came with the Gov. Shooting like pro's when they never practice like his 1st crew of guys did. I am very very sad to see Hershel go though I knew it was coming with him show casing his talents in dealing with the flu. I love how Carol influence the kids to kill just thought it would have been great if one of the kids did it. The fact that they never showed the gov actually getting killed by the shot in the head because the camera turned away is exactly like how they filmed Ricks wife last moments, making you think did she really die? But at least they confirmed the gov death on the talking dead and put that to rest. My thinking is carol going to meet up the girls and what about Morgan ? Will we see him again, maybe? How many groups are theres now 5 I think? Again very sad

Just remembered!! Carl caught carol teaching the kids about how to kill. Obviously she most likely didn't teach the kids to burn the people or cut open rats, but that may very well be the byproduct of teaching young kids about things that they can't mentally deal with yet. I could see this:

    *flashback*
Carol inadvertently drives the oldest girl to do what she did.
The girl comes to carol and tells her what she did.
Carol is appalled, but promises to protect her and never to tell anyone what she did.
    Bold Predictions:
June 21- Dez Bryant finishes as the #1 WR in 2013.

It became an ego twisted plot more about the governor just wanting rick to be dead than his own survival.

Swampies I was wondering about the shooting myself, but then I realized, they didn't actually kill anyone did they?

I have been wondering about all of the nice kept yards myself, been joking with the wife about it.

When everyone walked past the bus, I was like wtf is everyone doing, you all shot at him just 15 seconds ago, HE IS STILL THERE.
Then I was like Rick should have shot him, but was he out of bullets, he ran behind the bus shooting, and not sure how many shots he got off.

I think it was the girl feeding the rats, possibly the one who killed the two who were sick, but I think Carol would have been the one who burned them.
The girl wouldn't have been able to move the bodies, and would not have thought to burn them, I think.

yawn.................this thread gets more action than FFootball?

So is the virus airborne or does it have to be sexually transmitted?

Do you guys know who manicures the yards?

Is Rick still alive?  Or is he now a zombie?

Does the Governors family receive health insurance for the next 20 years even though he is presumed dead?

Last question.  Is this show's genre the same as the "Thriller Video"?

This just in:  Andy Reid is SOFT
