@Smitty at what point do you worry about KM going back to Den??

** granted I worried about this a lot more before they went crazy on defense.. Starting to not worry anymore...

Well, now I guess. But, that doesn't mean Ball still won't thrive. Plus, half, if not more, of everything we all do is dynasty, Montee's future should be bright no matter what. Of course, I want him to get 20+ carries a game right away, though. I think he will still get a shot to start over Moreno even if Moreno is around.. they used Ball in key and delicate situations during the playoffs, which spoke volumes IMO.

@lukeb5301 what do you think? Yeah, with the money spent, hopefully they can't offer him nothing but the min period.

FA, the draft, all this can turn things upside down. DraftCalc is in the preemptive business, we are all going to have to adjust 10,000 times this season, let's just hope no matter what Ball gets his shot, then it won't matter in the end.

Yah they're still somehow hoping to sign ware also so my worries have gone down to about 0 now. I even put Montee on the block just in case but the offers weren't the best.. Sometimes I left my worries get myself in trouble lol

Thoughts on Ben Tate @lukeb5301 ? Odds you think he lands somewhere to start? I just don't see him not, he is the biggest name, I just doubt all RB needy teams all avoid him and while some hand 10 Million to Geharts and Jennings types. Crazy.

@Smitty Cleveland makes too much sense, I'm honestly surprised he hasn't even been mentioned today.

The jets have a ton to spend so I could easily see that but would hate it FF wise.

Ten would also be nice for him but I'm not sure I see it.

If he doesn't land on a team as a starter I can see him going back to Houston knowing Foster is on his last leg.
    My 2013 Predictions:
    [:(] C.J. Spiller Will Be The #1RB(Jan 9th)
[XXX] Demaryius Thomas will be the #1 scoring WR!(Feb 13th)
[XXX] Trent Richardson will NOT finish as a Top 10 RB!(June 4th)
    [:(] Rob Housler will be a Top 5 TE in 2013!(July 18th)
[XXX] Josh Gordon will put up a 80/1200/10 stat line in just 14 Games!(Sept 5th)

I agree with everything but I think he could still do ok in NY, but yes, it's not my favorite place, no doubt! lol

Heading to HOU to sit one more year, or half a year should Foster get banged up, makes a lot of sense, too, that is what I've been thinking as well as a worst case.

Some of my day 1 thoughts.

Pats have to go after Revis now. DEN spending to win now. Dennard can't stop DT. Hope they can get a deal done. DRC isn't a #1 corner.

Amendola stock up and Boyce stock up if Edelman walks.

I think the signing of Gerhart makes it obvious JAC is gonna draft a RB.

Ellington stock up with predicted offensive line upgrades. Veldheer, draft pick, Cooper back

Nicks to Carolina seems to logical not to happen. Not a nicks fan but couldn't ask for a better landing spot for fantasy value.

Finley to Seattle. Not sure what to make of this. Not a great landing spot imo. High TE2 value next year.

Vick's gonna be a Raider if he wants to start. They have a ton of cap room as well.

Golden Tate's stock would soar in DET. Legit WR3 value there if they don't draft a WR in the 1st.

Latavius Murray arrow up with DMC back for 6 games this year.

NYG smells of rbbc next year. Don't like the landing spot for Jennings.

With ATL spending there coin on oline and dline. I think they draft a RB

DC Superflex Dynasty. PPR. 4pt passing tds (1QB,2RB,3WR,1TE,1QB/RB/WR/TE)

I was checking my rotoworld feed every 5 min all day today. Swear I felt like Adam Schefter lol. Most excited to see where Tate ends up.

Day 1 has left me concerned about Charles and the KC offense as a whole. They lose 3 of the starting O lineman in the first 90min of free agency. Something to keep in mind as the offseason rolls along if you're a Charles owner.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

I know CLE has been the most popular fit all along. If Tate thinks he's an elite RB, then he prob wants elite money. I'd look at the most rb needy teams with the most cap room as landing spots in that case.

Ouch. I didn't even think of that. As you can see by my signature, that does concern me.

    1. Broncos are going to be unbelievable this year..

    2. Does any one else think that Andrew Hawkins is a sleeper next year for the browns...no one ever believes me but this dude can BALL.

    3. Browns signing hawkins solidifies their slot...they already have Gordon and Cameron...I mean I could still see them going Watkins if he fell, but then what other huge needs do they really have except qb? I mean rb obviously, but that can be addressed later..idk how the browns don't go qb unless Watkins or clowney slip

I do. I've always been higher than most on him. I'm kind of upset, because I meant to scoop him off the WW in 3 different leagues last week. Of course I ended up forgetting, and now we're in the BB period in 2 of the leagues. Now I have to spend BB$ and win the bid to roster him in those leagues. Kinda kicking myself right now because of that.

Just read on Twitter via Schefter that the Bengals plan to match the Browns offer to Hawkins

I've always thought Hawkins speed was very impressive and he could be a great slot WR with the right situation. Maybe Jay Gruden will utilize him more. Think it speaks volumes that they matched the offer sheet. Deep sleeper candidate. Likely the 4th/5th wr option tho with AJ, Marvin, Eifert, Gio

I'm confused, so if the previous team matches the offer placed by another team, is it now in the player's discretion where he goes? Or does he go to the previous team that matched the offer?

I believe if a team matches the offer they retain their rights. So in this case, Cincy will retain Hawkins rights.

Cincy has the right to match the offer. If they match, Hawkins has no option but to stay with Cincy.

Maybe your confusion comes in the distinction between UNRESTRICTED free agents and RESTRICTED free agents. There is a whole different set of rules for RFAs. Basically the team sets a level on any RFA. The level dictates the price and compensation the team gets for another team signing their player. Hawkins was tagged at compensation being the round in which he was drafted (this is a low cost tag). In Hawkins situation, he was undrafted so Cincy does not get any compensation if they decide not to match the offer. With RFAs, the team retains the right to match the offer, and if they do match, the deal is done and the player must remain with his team (he has no option at that point).

    Clear as mud, huh?
