    okay ill give you an example of consistent....excluding missed games obviously...in basic ppr leagues there was only ONE top ten fantasy rb in the NFL that didnt have a single digit scoring game....charles?....nope....mccoy?....nope....forte?.....nope....lynch?....nope....the mighty adrian peterson?...nope....reggie bush?....nope....uh....only ONE TOP TEN rb scored in double digits everytime out....his name?....mr demarco murray...in fact ZERO nfl rbs scored double digit fantasy points in ppr leagues in all games last year....well....except one....demarco murray

    Take the set of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10. Instead of adding them all up and dividing
    by 10 drop the 1 & the 10, add 2 thru 9 and divide by 8. To find what to drop (other than obviously the largest & smallest) I use 10% of the largest number. Subtract that from the largest number and anything greater than your new number is dropped. I then drop an equal amount of numbers from the lowest side.

    Ex. Using 1-10 again but trimming 20%...

    10*0.20 = 2
    10-2 = 8
    9 & 10 are greater than 8. 8 stays since it is = not >
    1 & 2 are dropped (2 from the top = 2 from the bottom)
    3+4+5+6+7+8= 32
    32/6 = 5.33

    Make sense?

    It's a lot easier to score double digits in every game when you don't play in every game......Just sayin.

    Not sure why all this number bs..lol...we all know murray is a beast when on the field and we all know he probably will never play 16 games ..history has proven that. so take the risk of missed games and be happy or trade him and be happy..

    When evaluating consistency, to remove the games that Murray did not play distorts his performance data. The fact is that he misses games. For me he gets a ZERO for games missed and his statistics are measured using 16 games.

    Bottom line is anyone near/around Murray value can be a stud or disappoint. No one knows the answer, and no one is misguided taking either stance. He very  much has the skill set, talent and situation to be a top 5RB, and like any player with even a touch of injury risk, there is a reasonable argument to like the player but not pay the current ADP price.

    Time will tell, great debate, though.

    This. I've never argued against Murray's ability or production. It's all about the injury risk associated with him. I own Murray, so I know about what he does. People keep saying that he "only" missed 2 games last year, and technically that's true. However, he only played 1 QTR in the game he got hurt in (Luckily he did work in that 1st quarter, so it wasn't a total loss), and he was used VERY sparingly in the 1st game back from his injury. I couldn't even start him the first game he came back because of the reports of his reduced workload for that game. So as a Murray owner, I felt like he was gone for a quarter of the season.
