So we believe everything coaches say in the off season now? Sweet it all makes sense now.

it's more by how he used CJ in the past then it is by what he said, but having him back him like he does is a big factor. I find it amazing how everyone loves to jump ship every time on past rookies to the new rookies when the draft comes around. But like I said before if I needed a RB I would want Stacy but I myself don't so I would take the 1.2 and get a top WR knowing this class of WR's blows away past rookie WR's all around since AJG and Julio came out of the draft.

I agree with what your saying for sure, my feelings on stacy though is I love his situation but not the talent, if Cunningham were to get a chance I would fully expect him to put up stacy like numbers at least.

but he did have his chance but Stacy ran with it instead.
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

    @swampies

When? He only had 2 games with 5 or more carries. He never had the chance

    Wk 10: 7 Carries 72 yards 10.3 ypc
    Wk 12: 13 Carries 109 yards 1 TD 8.4 ypc

    Season 5.9ypc

I'd say that's pretty good and that's not even getting a chance. He never got more then 2 carries again. I wouldn't say Mr. 3.9 ypc ran with it.

    My 2013 Predictions:
    [:(] C.J. Spiller Will Be The #1RB(Jan 9th)
[XXX] Demaryius Thomas will be the #1 scoring WR!(Feb 13th)
[XXX] Trent Richardson will NOT finish as a Top 10 RB!(June 4th)
    [:(] Rob Housler will be a Top 5 TE in 2013!(July 18th)
[XXX] Josh Gordon will put up a 80/1200/10 stat line in just 14 Games!(Sept 5th)

LOL Luke, yeah with 973 yards total /3.9 ave/ 7 TD's but what you seem to forget is he did this when the Rams had no passing game as Bradford was on IR if I'm not mistaken. 8 in the box and still produced.

Nothing more I hate is someone throwing nerdy numbers from a stat sheet without knowing the facts.

Stacy is one of the most compact combinations of strength and quicks. 28 reps and very very impressive cone and shuttle for his size. He is a character guy, he blocks, he is tough, no reason to believe he is just getting started. I do agree though that his biggest challenge may be in keeping Cunningham on the bench, I really like his talent so there is a risk, but I certainly would not worry about Stacy wearing down. He's as durable as they come.

I prefer the 1.02 but this is a good post. It refreshes my memory as to why I liked Stacy last year. Sometimes things get a little fuzzy with all the new data. I was beginning to become a little leery with Stacy but this helps reel it in a bit for me. Sometimes I get too caught up in looking for reasons why I don't like a player and I start to forget why I liked them in the first place. Thanks.

What you seem to forget is Benny also did it with Bradford out and stacked boxes.. 8 in the box still produced. That same week Benny went 7 for 72 stacy went 26 for 62.

Nothing more I hate then someone saying a guy had his chance when the facts and stats prove he didn't.

No where did I say either rb was better then the other all I did was give you facts that your statement was wrong.

Next time you want to make a statement calling me out about facts, make sure you have yours right.

Since when is Stacy a "proven NFL HB"?  The guy didn't even average 4 ypc?  HB's don't last long with less than 4 ypc.  I take the picks all day long.

I have two words............Benny..........Cunningham. Give me the 1.02. Fisher does love his workhorse RB, but I don't think Stacy is even the best RB on his team.

    Sure
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

I would, but I obviously believe in Cunningham's talent. For me it would be a small price to pay for piece of mind if I owned Stacy.
