The Cowboys will regret not taking a QB period. Romo is fantasy solid but real football is tough to play with both hands around your own throat.

I don't think it made any sense for the cowboys to take a qb with their contract situation with romo. Not in the first anyway
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

Cowboys will not regret taken QB but will regret not taken on a new coach! When that happens then they'll draft a new QB to mentor by their new head coach.
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

Jerry Jones would die of a heart attack and stress if he had both QB.  He would flip flop so much even he would find it annoying.
I don't trust Adam Schefter and neither should you!!!

Manziel would be a less effective but younger Romo. So why bother.

I agree. Romo is a great QB IMO. They need to run the ball more to help Romo.

They may regret it-johnny would tear it up there i think. but their hands were tied w Romos contract & dead $ vs the cap if they cut Romo.

This team is going to suck this year and when the cowboys throw in the towel and Jerry lets Manziel off the leash because fans demand him, the cowboys would garner a lot more attention.

That being said, jerry loves romo way too much which is why Jason Garrett is still around; his relationship with romo is keeping him in Dallas.

Does anyone think Manziel is better than Romo? IMO Romo is a ton better QB than him right now.

Romo has underrated escapibility and can throw more accurately than Manziel. Would u rather have Romo or Manziel right now as your qb for fantasy?

I don't think that Johnny Football was ever an option for the Cowboys with what they just payed Romo.  Of course that will be completely forgotten in a few years and everyone will criticize Dallas for not taking him.

For fantasy prob Manziel. If Im in win now mode I want a better QB than Romo. If Im rebuilding I want the younger guy. Romo is a great NFL QB regardless of what people say but not really a guy you want in fantasy. Hes right in that middle area of not good for rebuild or win now situations.

The problem with Romo is he poorly coached. Jason Garrett sets him up for failure by not having a good game plan for him and everyone hearts gets broken when he starts to improvise on the fly when things break down. Manziel is known for making the best out of improvising on the fly as he feels more comfortable throwing on the run. That's the difference!
Hopefully Manziel will be have a better coach with a better game plan which allows him to throw on the run which makes him feel comfortable.

I agree thats Manziels game but its Tony's game too and Tony has way more experience than Manziel. I doubt Manziel could do it better than Romo for at least the next 2-3 years. If I was an NFL coach Id much rather have Romo with his athleticism and experience.

Romos going to throw a lot this year; he's got Scott lineham, staffords old oc. That being said, witten, demarco, and Dez are going to be big ppr guys.
