I know you really mean dumb but it's okay haha. ;)

It's a combination of a few things. When I watched Sammy Watkins last year, I didn't see this Julio-esk figure like everyone talks about. I see Percy Harvin. Is there anything wrong with Percy Harvin? Not at all, but as I watched more film I began to see something. There is a BETTER Percy Harvin in this class in Brandin cooks. For what they will both be utilized for (because I believe they are the same type of player) I think cooks is the better athlete and football player. But for all intensive purposes, let's say they are equal or maybe even that Watkins is better like everyone says..I still like cooks in his situation over Sammy. I like cooks and Adams for the same reason that Jordy Nelson and Wes welker are/were so valuable. They are good wrs with great qbs and that makes all the difference sometimes.

Another reason my rankings are the way they are is because I told myself when CP started his breakout at the end of last year and then rise in the ADP that I wouldn't buy into the "he is too raw right now" talk anymore. When I see something in someone I'm going to go with it. I had CP as one of the top 2-3 guys in last years class but was talked out of taking him because people convinced me he was raw. I think that talent and situation will win out as far as Kelvin Benjamin goes. Remember that these guys have professional coaches working with them 6 out of 7 days a week..

And I just think that Benjamin is a better athlete than Evans. We will see though. I know I'm in the minority and I respect everyone's varying opinion.
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

Dumb not all..i like ur stance and that ur sticking to it..i see cook too small to be a true #1 and fear he gets injuries similiar to harvin..i too like benjamin alot..we all said the guy who went to carolina was the one own to and well that change it seems but i see that as a great and deep 2104 class and we can take advantage of it.i see stud in watkins evans hip look to tight to me and benjamin needs tons of work but cp and him are not the same lol..but like his future as jr has said beast or bust nothing in between

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jimmy Kempski opines that Eagles second-round WR Jordan Matthews has "looked like the best receiver on the team" during OTAs, "and it hasn't been close."

This isn't the first we've read about Matthews starring at OTAs. Kempski's colleague, Jeff McLane, singled out Matthews, saying the No. 42 overall pick has yet to drop a pass as the slot receiver with the second-team offense. Jeremy Maclin is still knocking off the rust from his torn ACL, and Riley Cooper played better than many expected last season. Anticipate Cooper taking on more of a blocking role in 2014. He's a candidate to be over-drafted in fantasy. Matthews is a hard worker and could have some re-draft appeal in the later rounds.

He has size speed great offense talent an qb.. I see the next AJ kinda talent..a. True #1 wr not a gimmick player like cook.

Was with you until the Cooks comment...I can understand thinking it based on his size and speed but the guy gets up and attacks the ball!

the only reason i dislike cook is his size and how he attacks it!! he will get lite up and IMHO stay injured alot..i guess it not that i dislike him but rather i see injury prone label coming i suppose.

So many GREAT points made. THANK YOU!!

As an FSU fan I am always more skeptical of our guys (well only when they are hyped, I was shocked Anquan fell)....I love Kelvin, would have loved him back for another year to grow....he is NOT the freak that CP is, but he is a freak in his own right and he is in a great situation.

Such a great point of sticking to your guns...it is SUCH an AWFUL feeling to not take a guy at 12 because everyone says he should go between 16-20 and the guy becomes a stud....

Were the guys that drafted Bryce Brown and Alfred Morris in the 3rd round of their rookie drafts idiots? How about the guys that Gambled on Russell Wilson and Foles late? No...nor are they necessarily amazing prospectors, but I bet they sure are glad they stuck to their guns and took their guys!

Thank you so much for this @emurrell17!!

I got Alfred Morris in Round 8(heard rumors he was taking reps with first team).  Flipped him and Garcon last offseason for McCoy :p
    Team 1
    QB: Brady, Kaepernick
RB: McCoy, Stacy, Miller, R. Jennings, Gerhart
    WR: Cruz, Blackmon, Gordon, Jeffery
    TE: J. Thomas

Will have to drop to 12 before draft
    Team 2
    QB: Peyton, McCown, Glennon,
RB: Spiller, Ball, Pierce, Polk, Todman, Williams, Blue
WR: Marshall, Gordon, Jeffery, Jennings, Austin, Hartline, Sanders, K. Benjamin, Herron, Moncrief, Abbrederis
TE: M. Bennett, Cook, L. Green

    Brilliant!!

And more to the actual topic (sorry!) I do not envision Matthews staying a slot receiver for very long, and could see him regularly lining up outside this year with or without a Maclin injury.

The guy is special, and another testament to how special this WR class truly is that he regularly is considered the #4...and that STILL nets him top 1/2 of 1st round rookie value!!

I have been wondering what it would take to trade for this guy in one of my leagues.

Also JT was tearing up OTAs last year, look how well he performed in the season.  For every JT you have though, you get an Owusu, Sudfeld, and Thompkins.
