Tyler Eifert...what to do with him?

I wasn't sure what area to put this topic in.

I know Eifert isn't as sexy as a topic as RBs or WRs...or Johnny Football ~X( but I do like what you guys have to say about things.

I'm sitting on Gronk and Eifert with the assumption that Gronk starts the season on PUP. Is it worth it to hold onto Eifert and see what he can do or go after sexier guys like Ebron or even Escobar from DAL since he's sitting out there. LaDarius is already taken, just in case someone had that thought in mind.

What are your projections for Eifert this season? Breakout? First round bust?

I stay with Eifert his perceived talent is low but he is a BEAST.

I think he will have a better year and career than Ebron.

Rookie TEs usually don't put up that great numbers.  So I would expect a nice jump in production from Eifert in year two.  I also wouldn't be surprised to see the Bengals let Gresham walk after this season.

I'm on this as well.  Never been much of a fan of Eifert's but he does have talent.  I really just don't like his situation in Cincy to be honest.

    What about Escobar?

I only mentioned Ebron since he's the one name I keep hearing. Isn't Ebron's situation similar to Eifert's? Stud WR in place - we know who Dalton's and Stafford's guy is - and playing second and third fiddle to other WR or RB on the team. I do like the prospect of Eifert in his second year but haven't heard much about him. I have been hearing more about Escobar and he should be next in line after Witten.

Any other TEs that could be a sneaky producer this season?

I would trade Gronk while his value is still high.  I wouldn't give him away but shop him and see if somebody has a lot of faith in him.  I personally don't think he will return to form.  He could still be a TE1 but not the top tier.  I think injuries will just keep happening.

LGreen from SD is the best buy low bargain right now.  I think he is going to be insane.  I would overpay for him also.
I don't trust Adam Schefter and neither should you!!!

The leagues I am in Greene is not a buy low..... owners have faith he will be "the guy".

Ditto. The current owner made a deal with Green involved but he really meant for Green to be the focal point of the trade. Sneaky bastard! B-)

I'm just looking at for alternate players at TE in case Gronk isn't ready and Eifert starts off slow. Trading Gronk is going to be tough since his value isn't really that high right now. I'd have to take a low offer whereas just sitting tight with him is my best bet. If he can return to form this season, then I can definitely shop him for inflated value.
