Below are some Frequently Asked Questions about our site; if your question is more along the lines of “why should I subscribe to your services” over someone else’s, well, you have got to read this right here!
Subscription-Related
Hey, I just purchased your Subscription, or other product, but I still don’t have access to view it! Help!
First, if you pay by e-check (using PayPal), our system does not show you as paid until that check clears, which can take between 2-7 days (on average); However, just contact us and we can kickstart your access in advance, we just need to know about it! Past that, if you are not able to view or access any purchased product, contact us ASAP and we can assist you with this!
If I subscribe, how long does my subscription last?
Our products describe how long the subscription lasts, but for 2013, we only have one subscription product, and it lasts for 365 days from the date of purchase.
Why won’t PayPal accept my credit card when I attempt to purchase your subscription?
Often times when PayPal is not allowing purchase with a specific credit card, it’s because that card has likely been used before on PayPal and that card is now linked to a specific PayPal account (maybe even if used a long time ago). Contacting PayPal is advised for anyone encountering this problem, as they may be able point you in the right direction in terms of being able to access the account that may have once been created using the card in question. Note: This is not always the case, this is just one scenario that we’ve encountered.
Is my Forum User ID different than my User ID for the content-side of the website?
Yes, these are different. If you have a Forum User ID, that is not the login you will use for the website’s content/subscription. Although, you can claim the same name if it’s available, which is something that we recommend, but when you decide to sign-up for our subscription, you will be asked to create a new User ID and password that is separate from our Forums. If you need a website User ID, click here.

The below questions are in reference to our Fantasy Football Rankings.
Having trouble viewing our fantasy football rankings?
If viewing from a mobile device, click here.
How often are your fantasy football rankings updated?
Our rankings are year-round. We freshen them up weekly, that is a given, however, some days we find ourselves updating the rankings 3-4 times in one day. The updates are constant and these rankings are never shutdown. March is the same as August in our eyes!
Are your fantasy football rankings weekly-based rankings? Meaning, if it’s Week 4, are your your rankings for that particular week?
No! Our rankings above are what we call “looking-forward” rankings, which means if it’s Week 4, this is how we’d rank the above players if holding a fresh draft from Week 4 through 16. If you want rankings based on the weekly match-ups, what you want to check out are our weekly projections, which can be found here.
Why don’t you guys have ‘up’ and ‘down’ indicators on your rankings, this way I’d know who has been climbing and falling?
We get this question a lot, and the answer is this… ‘up’ and ‘down’ indicators just don’t work effectively on rankings that are as updated as these. Because we update 3-4 times in one day, refreshes happen too much for indicators to mean anything. Even if we set a weekly reset of the indicators and let them count movement throughout a week, we move players around so much, it just doesn’t represent the changes effectively.
Why do some of your rankings not match some of your other sets of rankings/projections?
Good question. The answer is simple. Most likely, when encountering this, you’re looking at two different features. For example, Smitty controls the fantasy football rankings, and the projections are compiled via a staff average. So, you may notice one person creates and maintains one set of rankings, whereas 2-4 people (combine) maintain our full-season projections (powered by a staff average). We provide variation when and where we can because it’s our opinion that multiple opinions can often be beneficial.
Are your rankings customizable to my very own league scoring/format?
No. However, our rankings are extensive and sleeper- and breakout-driven, which means we’re consistently calling players we feel are rising stars. Our rankings are also year-round and always updated. We venture to say that you’d be hard-pressed to find any source out there on the Web that has rankings like us. We don’t understand the difference between March 1st and August 1st, so our website is updated, and current, 365 days a year. With so many fantasy owners now playing both redraft style and dynasty style leagues, we wouldn’t be doing our job if you noticed a difference between our off-season content and our in-season content. That’s just how we roll! As for the scoring that we use for our rankings and projections, our fantasy football rankings are base on a standard PPR scoring, where each player gets 1 point per reception, quarterbacks get 4 points per TD and 1 point per 20 yards passing, and all rushing and receiving stats are awarded 1 point per 10 yards and 6 points per TD. Our projections are also based on that scoring format, however, we do provide a sortable option on our projections, which allows you to look at PPR projections vs. non-PPR projections.
Why are your IDP Rankings not updated daily like your other rankings?
Our IDP Rankings are not a part of our paid content, which means that they are provided FREE. Because this is not a paid feature, we do not dedicate daily resources toward its updates. Just because our IDP Rankings aren’t updated with the exact same ‘every day’ intensity that we apply to our offensive-geared rankings, that doesn’t mean that our updates aren’t still frequent. Our IDP Rankings are not updated during the in-season, as they are merely an off-season and draft preparation feature.
Are your IDP Rankings FREE?
Yes. However, we only maintain our IDP Rankings during the off-season.

How can I revert my phone back to viewing your Forums in mobile mode?
When viewing our forums on your smart phone, you may notice that your phone automatically displays the mobile version of the forums. If you purposely, or accidentally, click on “Full-Site” at the bottom of our forums, this will display our regular browser version of our forums. If you find yourself in this situation, and you want the “mobile” version restored, all you have to do, in most cases, is restart your phone. What this does is reset your cache, then when you visit http://draftcalc.com/forums again, your mobile browser will likely display the mobile version of our forums once again. If restarting your phone doesn’t work, you can attempt to reset your cache through your phone’s browser settings, but be sure you understand your phone and how clearing cache could affect your other cached info/sites, as resetting cache can reset “saved” settings within your browser/history (meaning, you may have your phone remembering multiple settings like our “Full-Mode” example, and resetting your cache could reset other settings like that example that you may have for other sites, etc).
