I thought Hunter did well last year spelling Gore, but the 49ers off-season moves suggest that the don't view Hunter as the guy that will replace Gore in 2013, Thoughts?

They seem to be going RBBC.  All the cool kids are doing it now...Green Bay, New England, New Orleans...

Long term I don't think he is on the roster.

I think it will be Hunter, with James as a 3rd down/complimentary back.

Hunter has the talent to be that guy IMO.

  • ^ Agreed, however... I don't trust that he's currently on the roster so that's a backfield that I'm staying away from.... funny I say that when I just daft Stewart in my start up and that's one of the most confusing backfields in the league today... however sometimes man crush takes over....  :D

  • RBBC is the future in SF if we don't already see it this year.

tough to just "replace" gore....he was/is a stud.

i agree rbbc will be the way.
    2013 Predictions:
-Jay Cutler will not be a starting QB in the NFL after 2013
-Matt Forte will have the best season of his career in 2013
-Trent Richardson will exceed 18 total tds in 2013
  • Gore's heir apparent is not currently on the roster.  One thing I'm fairly certain of though is that it's not Hunter.

Boy I hope you're right big guy. Just in case, I drafted them both!
