Who agrees or disagrees and why?
  • Very possible standard leagues Ball, however in PPR, he still falls short to Roddy.

Time will tell but I just see Julio getting better and better each week.
  • Disagree with top 3, if Atlanta had crap for RBs I could see it. Atlanta will spread the ball around too much.

Agree. Julio is a beast and has elite size and speed that not many have.

  • Disagree this year. I think Roddy has 1 more year being top dog in ATL. After that, it's all Julio, and he'll compete w/ AJG for #2 WR
    QB: RGIII, Wilson, Dalton
WR: AJG, Dez, Wallace, Quick, Gordon, Lafell,
RB: Charles, Martin, Tate, Pead, Richardson (Daryl), Thomas
    TE: Gresham, Rudolph

Julio scored 6 TDs in his last 4 games last year to close out the season. Hes a match-up nightmare and will get better every season.

Just took Julio 3rd in a DraftMaster league that is non-ppr with big play bonus.....he should be gold in this format.

I think so.  Both Welker, Nelson and Cruz seem set for a slight regression.  Julio was killing it at times last season.  I think he had 6 20+ point games last year out of 13 games played.  I also remember distinctly from owning him last year that he had probably 2-3 games which he started and played, but was pulled early dealing with that hamstring.

If he's healthy, he could explode.  On a points per game basis he was already the 11th ranked ppr wr last year despite those few games he was pulled early for injury and despite it being his rookie year.  He can take it to the house on any play.  Another year of practice, adjusting, and chemistry and i think Julio is a shoe in for top 3 finish.
    2013 Predictions:
-Jay Cutler will not be a starting QB in the NFL after 2013
-Matt Forte will have the best season of his career in 2013
-Trent Richardson will exceed 18 total tds in 2013

Just re-read what I wrote and wanted to clarify......I took Julio as the 3rd WR, not 3rd overall (Calvin and Fitz were the other 2 WR taken).

Wow, Julio over AJG.  Still bold meast!

  • I agree.  Julio had no off-season last year to work on chemistry with Ryan and he still posted 54-959-8 as a rookie.  That's pretty sick.

I don't see him being the 2nd or 3rd wr this year. But after this year, watch out.

just for comparison i looked at the last 7 regular season games to see how some of the wrs fared - non ppr.

calvin - 18.7 points per game

nelson - 15.4 ppg - but is the epitomy of boom or bust as he either put up huge numbers or virtually no numbers from week to week

julio - 15.4 ppg - in 5 games as he was injured weeks 11 and 12

    bryant - 9 ppg

    ajg - 8 ppg

harvin - 15.4 ppg - don't sleep on this guy. when the vikings coaching staff finally began using him as he should be used only calvin put up better numbers than him.

This proves how much I love Julio Jones:

Traded Marshawn Lynch and Hakeem Nicks for Julio Jones in this dynasty expert PPR start-up!

So Meast, 3rd overall wouldn't be NUTS in my eyes. Julio has top 2-3 WR upside for the future. I have A.J. Green as my No. 1 dynasty WR of the future, and Calvin and Julio tied for fantasy's future WR2 (view DC Dynasty Rankings here). Chew on that, DC Nation!
