Somewhat of an enigma here .... some love him ... some hate him .... but looks like he might have turned the corner (knock on wood) and started taking things seriously? Maybe drafting Hunter was a kick in the butt to get him motivated ... or the contract year .... either way, I'm still looking to buy him where I can.

The Nashville Tennessean suggests Kenny Britt's trouble-free offseason could be a "launching pad" for Britt's breakout year.

Beat reporter Jim Wyatt writes that Britt "by all accounts" got serious this offseason, and "impressed coaches and teammates" by reporting to spring workouts in prime physical condition. Britt is in a contract season and can still salvage his All-Pro talent going on age 25. While Tennessee's QB situation is an obvious concern, Britt offers mammoth upside for a likely mid-round fantasy pick.

In the wake of Michael Crabtree's Achilles tendon surgery. The coaching staff intends to give the 49ers' young receivers a chance instead. Jim Harbaugh said he does not think WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') will miss the entire 2013 regular season. As we all know he's not a doctor nor are all of us. So I'm not to sure about that being the case. It is going to be tough for a receiver to return from this type of injury before the season is over.
So with AJ Jenkins who was a red shirt rookie that was sitting most of the season because of Harbaugh not inclined in playing rookies their first year. Do you see AJ Jenkins getting a shot to be that sleeper WR that was just waiting in the wings for a chance like this one?

Is Tavon Austin worth 1.02?

Have the 1.02 (thanks to the strikeouts I had last season). Is Austin worth it? My team needs some help, I know. And trading in this league is almost impossible as everyone hordes their players and expects to make out the winner of a trade. So based on my sig, would you take Austin at 1.02 or go with either Ball, Lacy, or Bell? I also own the 1.12 and was thinking of taking Lattimore as a stash there but could also look at a WR there too.

Two Differing 3 Hole Approaches

I'm slotted into the #3 overall pick in my 10 team, non-PPR, redraft league. I've done some mocking with the approach of somehow getting 2 RB's and a WR with my first 3 picks. When I go the traditional route, I usually take Doug Martin, Trent Richardson or C.J. Spiller depending on my mood. I've also tinkered around with taking Megatron at #3. I know it's crazy, but here is what I have been able to land mocking both ways. Which is best? I love Megatron and feel he is one of the safest fantasy players because of his position and dominance. I think he can duplicate what he did last year, and turn some of those tackled at the 1 yard lines into TD's.

Traditional RB First Approach

2nd round – Julio Jones / Brandon Marshall type WR

Get him while he's cheap! I think if you have been stuck with a guy like E. Manning, Rivers, or even RGIII, Tannehill provides a great opportunity to recoup/hedge your investment in those guys at a low cost.

If you think I did well, you haven't heard the bad news yet! I drafted Sproles with my 5.9 and now don't have a pick until 9.7 and 9.9.... I feel like I should trade up into the 6th or 7th or else I'll be in trouble, but its exactly that line of thinking that's got me into this hole here. Would you guys pawn off the 9's for a 6 or 7 or am I just digging a bigger hole?

Been talking to the Miller owner off and on. Not close to a deal

I don't want to destroy my championship team that I believe will likely repeat. But it might be time to add a little more youth to my RBs.

Don't really want to part with Lynch or AP. I just think that it is time to sell one of them... and I don't think I can bring myself to part with AP even if he includes Calvin.

I posted the following on a Hilton thread earlier. I wanted to get more feedback on givens.

I love Hilton. Finished the season really strong. But look at these numbers from week 12 thru week 17...
25/346/1 on 42 targets
20/406/3 on 36 targets

Which is Hilton and which is Givens. Hilton is getting a lot of love but Givens, not so much.

It would not surprise me if they ended the year separated by 10/100/2 on the year.

Is anyone else high on Givens as well?

I realize that StL drafted two WR's but they also lost 166 receptions from 2012.

I'm leaning towards rejecting the offer. I'm hearing some very good things about Hopkins. And the fact that I'm being offerred so many picks, furthers my opinion that Hopkins will be a stud, even in 2013. Having said that, I don't want to be blind to a good offer.

Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just read an interesting article (yeah, you're supposed to be working, too...) about "streaming" TE's against defenses that give up more than the average amount of points to TE's. The article is here: http://thefakefootball.com/fantasy-tight-end-instability-and-a-case-for-streaming/

It's an interesting concept and one I was pretty much forced into last year when Hernandez went down. I have utilized the rolling defense in leagues where the roster is shallow. In many of my dynasty leagues, the rosters are so deep there are none available.

From the article: "There were 47 players who posted TE1 numbers at least once last year. Twenty-five tight ends scored in the top-12 four or more times. Only four tight ends were in the top 12 eight times or more in 2012."

What's the consensus? Draft a TE and roll with it? Obtain several and play match-ups? Get a stud and don't worry about it?

Hilton posted five 100-yard games and averaged 17.2 yards per reception
-- the NFL's third highest clip among players with at least 50 catches. (V.Jackson was No. 1 and C.Shorts was No. 2.)

From Week 11 into the playoffs, Hilton racked up 34 catches for 572
yards and five touchdowns over the final eight-game stretch -- numbers
that extrapolate to 68/1,144/16.8/10 across 16.

I'm giving lynch and sproles.

at the 4 i'd have a shot at montee ball or someone who surprises in camp.

I know lynch is better and forte has had injury concerns, but lynch also is one misstep away from a long suspension and has this dui pending. This way I get younger (with the #4) at a position I have good depth at.

RG3 throwing passes at OTAs

This is good news for the kid.

Redskins QB Robert Griffin was spotted throwing passes off to the side of Thursday's OTA session. Afterwards, he confirmed that he's had no setbacks and deemed himself "a little ahead" in the rehab process. But he also admitted that he still hasn't been cleared to sprint or cut. That's expected to happen in a few weeks. Griffin said his goal is to be ready for the start of training camp. That seems doable at this point. It's still early, but RG3 seems on track to be under center come Week 1.

Among 31 RBs last year w/ 120+ CAR, CJ Spiller ranked 1st in FP/touch, 1st in YDS/touch, 5th in total YDS/gm, and 2nd in runs of 20+ yds

CJ Spiller's RZ YPC was 4.9 in 2012. Next highest out of top-11 backs was A.Morris at 3.2 YPC.

If CJ Spiller kept his pace when FJax was in the lineup, he would still be a top-14 back.

Arian Foster received 144 more carries than CJ Spiller and gained 167 more rushing yards
