Now it's really Vereen time! Ridley with the fumble. Bellichik won't be putting up with that in a game like this. Vereen is about to go OFF!

That's exactly what I said a week ago.  Too big of a game to lose with Ridley coughing up the ball.  It is go time for Vereen!

For those that have anointed Stacy a top 15ish dynasty RB, I'd be a little worried about Benny Cunningham.

I really like Cunningham for next year. It will probably end up as another timeshare.

I had people attacking me in a Stacy thread because I didn't have him ranked inside my top 20 yet. Cunningham could surpass Stacy, or he could go back to riding the pine when Stacy is healthy. We just don't know. This is why I don't bump RBs like Stacy up my dynasty rankings so quickly. I need to see more than a few games out of them before they become high RB2s in dynasty for me.

So, to get this straight... You don't bump players like Stacy up because they might get hurt?

Cunningham was zero, zip, zilch, nada before Stacy got hurt... The situation wasn't "fluid". The starter (that would be Stacy) got hurt... Cunningham proved that he too could run all over a terrible Bears' rushing D as well.... Does the injury now mean that the situation is fluid NOW?

Yeah, maybe... But sans injury you were still off not giving Stacy a bump in your dynasty rankings. JMO

To say the situation is not fluid is extremely short sighted IMO. This is dynasty, not redraft. Stacy has looked good, but there's no guarantee of his role/usage for next year forward. It could very well turn into some sort of committee. Is there a guarantee of any RBs usage next year? No, but Stacy also has no history behind him to support his usage. I didn't keep Stacy lower in my rankings because he "might get hurt" . I kept him lower because I'm not totally convinced of his long term value yet. I view him in the low RB2 range at this point. If you don't agree with my rankings then great, you don't have to use them. I could say the same thing about your rankings if you're trying to say you have Stacy as a RB1 in dynasty at this point.

Also, FWIW I DID give Stacy a bump in my rankings. He was in the 40-45 range before he started getting touches. I bumped him close to 20 spots when he became the starter.

But you're attempting to say you're somehow redeemed because the guy got hurt.... Not buying it.

Stacy was clearly "The Guy". Let me ask you this? Where do you have Eddie Lacy right now in your rankings? Is that situation "fluid" to you? Just curious because it's almost an exactly parallel point of reference. (Except Lacy didn't get hurt today)

If there is anything we should have in common  it should be mutual hate for Mara and the Giants.  It was Mara who went after Jones and Snyder with the salary cap fines.

Great for us Vereen owners though, Brady will be forced to chuck the ball now in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

I have Lacy 9-10 spots higher than Stacy. Maybe even a little higher than that. Like I've said before though, I've ALWAYS had Lacy higher than Stacy as I believe in Lacy's talent and situation more so than I do with Stacy. The issues with Stacy aren't him getting hurt, and I really don't care what you do and don't "buy". My issues and concerns with Stacy are much more about Cunningham's ability. I think Cunningham is much more of a threat to Stacy's playing time than any RB in GB is to Lacy.

When will some coaches learn what RBs to play? Get Vereen in there full time. Stupid coaching.

You can watch the Vereen show if you'd like. With NE possibly going down 3 scores this early and the other RBs fumbling their way to the bench; Vereen could rack up 15 catches now.
