Well, it means Jeff Tedford is going to be the offensive coordinator if all reports were true... He was always good for QBs at least...
NON-PPR, 6pt TD Pass, Return Yards Count, Start 1-3 RBs
QB - Brees, RG III, Cousins
    RB - Charles, L Miller, L Bell, Z Stacy
WR - Marshall, J Nelson, Randle, Hopkins, Harvin, D Rogers, G Whalen
    TE - J Cook, J Thomas, K Rudolph, T Gonzalez
    K - Bailey, Dawson
    D - Seattle, NY Jets

If anything the defense will be good!
My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
QB Russell Wilson, EJ Manuel, Josh Mckown
RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Andre Johnson, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
TE J Reed, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

Not saying Lovie, Tedford & Glennon can't be successful but I'm not high on Trdford as an OC. His success with QBs at Cal was/is largely based on Tedford limiting the reads the QB has to make. The field is essentially cut in half and there are only a couple of post-snap reads that the QB has to make. I'm not sure he'll be able to employ the same cut-the-field-in-half system in the NFL.

What do we think Lovie does to the development of Tim Wright? I know he's not a big name, but he had a very nice rookie campaign. I picked him up off the WW in a TE premium league this week. To the best of my knowledge the TE was almost non-existent in CHI when Lovie was there.
    2013 predictions

    -Cobb outscores Harvin in PPR
-Chris Ivory will be a top 15RB
-Kenny Britt finishes outside the top 20WRs

I agree 100%.  Lovie is a defensive and special teams coach, and the Bears offense was horrid under him.  He leaves and in 1 year the Bears become the second most prolific offense in football.  I'd sell Martin while you can.

Just amazing how a player stock can change in seconds! Totally agree in selling Martin now before it's to late! It's a defense oriented team now so don't end up thinking this offense is going anywhere, it's a dead end! Bail now!

crap - and only buy Glennon if they make all plays moving to the right otherwise he is a back up QB

I just wouldn't be getting too crazy on selling... bears had a power back to go along with forte...who is Martin's? it sure isnt rainey or James...martin is the guy...I dont know tedfords coaching philosophy other than he produced good qbs and had good pass catching rbs (best, vereen)...martin is both power and has decent hands. I just say lets pump the "sell, sell, sell" brakes a lil bit.

I followed the Bears closely, though I don't have the best memory lol.  My basic run down of the Bears under Lovie:

    - Took 3-4 years to realize they needed a WR, then traded for Marshall.
    - Drafted defense high when the primary need was offensive line play
    - Can't develop a quarterback
    - Only drafted 3 remotely effective offensive skill players (Forte, Olsen and Jeffrey)
    - Underutilized his effective offensive skill players
    - Won games on Defense and Special teams, keeping the offense off the field.

Edit: This was also a PRIMARY concern among Bears fans and writers during Lovies entire Tenure.  They seemed to ignore the problem.

Martin for sure won't disappear....But his numbers should dip.

He was already playing bad before his injury, now an injury and coaching change.  IF i'm not mistaken, Schiano's priorities were in the running game....Lovies will not be.

IF Martin is still valued top 10-20 in dynasty, I recommend selling.  Forte was a top 5 RB after his rookie year.  Then he fell to the 40's (4th round value) overall for about 3 years after.  Then Lovie got fired and he was drafted in the top 15.  He finished the season as RB3 and is now a top 5 RB again.  And I'd actually argue that Forte is more talented overall than Martin based on what I've seen.

For sure don't dump him for nothing, but Martin could very well wind up dropping from 1st to 2nd round dynasty value to 4th round dynasty value after next season.  Selling just makes sense to me.

I wouldnt doubt they push defense again in the draft though...would be nice to pair up some picks, climb and take clowney...they need a pass rusher desperately! bowers sure hasnt proven anything, clayborn played well...sorry, bucs fan here...getting a little homered ;) saying that, this hire can be no worse for any of them than the pair of schiano, Sullivan...hopefully tedford knows how to get the most out of what he has
