What about the passing game?  As an owner of VJAX and Tim Wright, I'm curious what Lovie's hire does to their value?

Lovie wants a clock manager at QB, he expects his Def to win the game and the offense not to lose it.
    QB: Brady, Kaepernick
RB: McCoy, Miller, D. Richardson, Jackson, Lattimore, McGahee
WR: Cruz, Blackmon, Gordon, Jeffery, K. Allen

so lovie was fired from his last nfl gig...and people assuyme he learned nothing...he will go back to coaching EXACTLY the way before...because there is no way he learned anything from his past....so based on his tenure in Chicago everyone is downgrading EVERY tampa offensive player?....mmmmmkay...so we are downgrading them due to losing greg schiano?...mmmmkay....sometimes I think the fantasy community puts too much thought in this stuff....lovie is  winner and a proven leader...he is bringing in a top offensive minded college coach to the run the offense....I just see this MAJOR reason to panic...yet

once again im not saying this stance is wrong but it is jumping to a lot of conclusions...imo....that has really been his MO and i get that...but....he got fired with that way of thinking....that year off changed nothing for him?...same old lovie?

i think FFH that all we can go on is track record and Lovie has been less than stellar when it comes his players and FF. Does that mean he wont change but all we have to go on. just as the track record for say Britt his track record isnt the best but can he change?  ;)

wow...was the basis of your argument to compare lovie smith to Kenny britt?...lmao...ready to read through the highly skilled and talented nfl qbs lovie has had to work with:

    chad Hutchinson

    craig krenzel

    brian griese

    kyle orton

jay cutler....by FAR the only real qb

LOOK...your guys conclusions may turn out to be accurate...but maybe....just maybe he turns this thing over to tedford and they can at least put up greg schiano numbers....anyone realize that under schiano tampa was DEAD LAST in total offense at 277 game?...or 30th in scoring offense?...its not like tampa was the high flying rams from the 80's....

rex grossman...who lead the bears to the be the #2 scoring nfl offense

Good point. How can we downgrade something that was basically at the bottom of the barrel already?

    Bold Predictions:
June 21- Dez Bryant finishes as the #1 WR in 2013.

I would say that maybe they should've drafted a better qb or traded for one though...

I think we need to pump the breaks on this "sell doug martin frenzy" . Hes been coach for one day and people are freaking out. I was told by many of you that talent always beats out situation. So if Martin is as talented as everyone made him out to be, why would he suck this year?

Same thing happened with McCoy last off-season, lol.  Armageddon is coming for Martin now that he's injured with a new coach.  It's happening again = = = = >   >:)

I think I'm basing my opinion on more than just Lovie.

On a "healthy" 127 attempts last season in basically 5.5 games, Martin averaged 3.6 ypc and had 1 td.  He injured himself and went on IR.  He was already sliding down.  Honestly, his injury was probably the best thing to happen to his value.  If Martin played the entire season, we might not even be having this conversation as Martin could've been in TR territory.  Who knows.  I was completely terrified of Martin BEFORE his injury as well

For me, new coach who had issues with holding back a clearly talented fantasy RB before, along with Martin's lack of performance right now this season, coupled with the fact Martin is still considered a top 15 player, means my risk/reward assessment says to sell now.  Forte gained 1400 total yards his second season and was completely trashed by fantasy owners and dipped to 4th/5th round value in startups that year after his second season.  Martin is still talented and still can produce, however i feel general perception will ruin his value if he does not finish top 5 in RB scoring next year, and i don't think a Lovie RB can finish top 5 in RB scoring so considering Martin still has top 15 value he seems like a nice sell.

Lovie is a defensive minded coach which all emphasize a conservative game plan which emphasizes running.  Martin will still get his touches but I do think that he will be part of a 2-3 man committee this year, potentially Martin is the 1a, Mike James the 1b and Rainey as the COP.  Could very well be a headache next year or they could stick primarily with Martin.  It's really too early to tell and I don't know enough about Tedford's tendencies to know what he's likely going to do.

    As expected....

Bucs hired ex-Cal coach Jeff Tedford as offensive coordinator.

It's an unconventional hire for new Bucs coach
Lovie Smith in that Tedford has zero NFL-coaching experience, but
Tedford churned out NFL talent during his 11 years at Cal, and oversaw a
prolific offense. Including his days as an assistant, Aaron Rodgers,
Kyle Boller, Akili Smith, Trent Dilfer and Joey Harrington are among the
quarterbacks Tedford coached in the college ranks. Keenan Allen,
Marshawn Lynch and DeSean Jackson are a few of the non-quarterbacks he
recruited and coached for the Golden Bears. It's a bold and risky hire
for Smith, whose downfall in Chicago was a dysfunctional and
inconsistent offense. Tedford should install a balanced, pro-style
    system.
