1.03 + Lamar Miller for Montee Ball?

    Miller = Ball

    1.3= Ball

Two for Ball is insane IMO:). Doesn't matter how much anyone loves the guy, his value isn't that high. Will he seriously not give you Ball for 1.3? Maybe he's sneaking on your site Smitty and trying to get extra value lol

I don't think most folks have Miller equal to Ball. I've seen Miller a good 10-15 spots lower than Ball in dynasty RB rankings. I agree giving Miller and the 1.3 is too much, but I would grab Miller and 1.3 assuming I had Ball and then trade Miller

↑ This is what I was thinking
    QB - RG3,Cutler, Osweiler, Keenum
RB - McCoy, LeVeon Bell, Moreno, Lamar Miller, Bryce Brown, K Hunter, Denard
WR - Torrey, TY Hilton, Hartline, K Thompkins, Royal, Givens
    TE - Clay, Dwayne Allen
    K - Prater

His value is that high in some leagues, proof by many in this thread suggesting they want Ball over the 1.03 and Miller. Just depends on the league.

I would easily take the Miller side but im higher then most on Miller.

I'm high on him too.. Just wish Mia was!

This is it in a nutshell... But when we consider that 1.1 or 1.2 is likely to be Watkins? We're doubling down on getting one of the top two RBs in this rookie class which is the meat and taters of that side of the deal ..
NON-PPR, 6pt TD Pass, Return Yards Count, Start 1-3 RBs
QB - Brees, RG III, Cousins
    RB - Charles, L Bell, Z Stacy
WR - Marshall, J Nelson, Randle, R Cooper, Hopkins, Harvin, D Rogers, G Whalen
    TE - J Cook, J Thomas, K Rudolph
    K - Bailey, Dawson
    D - Seattle, NY Jets

    Two trades:

Just traded my 2.03 and Britt for Decker
Just traded my 3.03 for Fleener

Now, who would give up Vereen, Decker and Lamar Miller for the 1.01? I already have the 1.03. Would anyone just do Vereen and Decker. I love my depth, but I want the 1.01 and 1.03 :)

    Current line-up:

    QB: Tom Brady
    RB1: CJ Spiller
    RB2: Zac Stacy
    Flex: Vereen/Decker/Miller
    WR1: AJ Green
    WR2: Julio Jones
    TE1: Fleener

Thats a lot to give up...if you love Watkins and think hell be elite pull the trigger. Tough move for me before the combine and draft though.

Everyone assumes it's Watkins. I'd probably trade down to the 1.02 on draft day if ADPs have him absolutely locked into the 1.01... But I'm guessing a top 1-3RB of mine lands somewhere great and it's a 60/40 Watkins or RB type of trend.

Ok...doesnt have to be Watkins. I guess what Im trying to say is if ou think any player you are targeting there is a potential "elite" player then pull the trigger. Thats just a lot to give up for just a future stud. Elite player is top 2-3 at his position...Stud is top 5-10.

Oh, and it does appear everyone thinks it will be Watkins as a lock... not saying you're wrong. It could be. I'd be fine with him at 1.01, but I'm just saying I think the landscape will change is all.

Here's my thing with this...i don't think that you are going to have to take your favorite rb at 1.1 or maybe even 1.2 smitty. For one, Watkins is being widely viewed as head and shoulders above the competition. Secondly, I think that the rb position is going to be devalued a lot this year. Coming off of the type of year we just had, in terms of rb production (committee backs and a lot of under performers at the position) I think people will be pretty hesitant to pull the trigger on a rb that high. I could be wrong..but that's just the feeling I'm getting this year
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

That's what I'm saying, the ADPs suggest Watkins now, I'm saying the landscape will shift with landing spots. Landing sports for RBs are far more impacting than for WRs, especially with Watkins, as so many are saying his is a stud no matter where he lands. I'm not saying I fully agree, I'm just speaking to the RB angle. I think everything is cycles trend wise, and the RB will not be forgotten in fantasy football... There are still plenty of RB1 players that can carry fantasy teams. I think Hyde, Williams in the right spot, Carey in the right spot, Mason, all those guys have 1.01 value IMO if landing in the right place.

Would I take them at 1.01 if the ADP suggests they are a lock to go 1.02? No, that's what I was saying above. No way I don't trade down if the landscape doesn't change. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I see what you are saying. And I wasn't meaning that rbs are done in ff, I just meant I think that the perception of them will be devalued by most this year...maybe it's a good time to buy low...and then if the cycle comes to where wrs are devalued do the same thing...hmmm :-?

The RB is definitely changing, but teams will still have an AP, Forte, McCoy and Lynch or Lacy.. There will be a lot more teams running a committee, sure, but that won't grow IMO, I think it's a movement that has grow enough.. Getting a RB into a rhythm, trusting the rusher not to fumble, knowing the playbook... Getting two RBs to gel in all these areas isn't easy, this the cycle will come back around for the RB IMO. Will they get drafted high and get paid like before? Maybe not, but maybe they will. Supply and demand changes when players standout as heads and shoulders above other players. Next year we could see 1-2 first round drafted RBs again.. This year maybe their is one?

I love that trade!!!  Kubiak in town, and having proven over a decade of OC he produces great RBs!!
Look at that line-up Smitty is fielding....  Weak spot is TE, no biggie as everyone without Grhama/Gronk/Juluis is in the same boat; and his next weak spot is Brady??? Come on, that is a killer line-up
