I just finally see ingram getting a shot here....finally....sure skill set he just hasn't been what the saints utilize in the past but with drew 30 plus maybe they start to smash it a bit more....hopefully....

well I JUST made a deal...give up pick #12 for ingram...ive seen flashes from ingram that give me the impression he can be a solid nfl rb....but even if they release sproles and Thomas will he even be given the chance?...who knows...

I picked Khiry up off the WW in 2 leagues last year. In one league I had to add him in a deal that netted me AJG. That owner has Ball on his roster and I have CJ Anderson. I'm trying to flip Anderson to him for Khiry before any news shows up on Khiry's player page on MFL.

I wouldn't be surprised if CJ Anderson eventually passed Ball.
That trade could go either way.

Now that is BOLD.  Love it haimez40!

    I agree with Haimez here...

Khiry will supplant Ingram and be this years breakout extraordinaire - at least that's what my crystal ball says - sure he will share some carries, but after watching him against the Hawks, wow!!!! A certifiable stud talent. I see nothing but a fast track to top 10 production either this year or at the latest next. And maybe his price is still palatable.

I've owned Khiry since MFL added him to the database so I want in on this bus.

they saw so much in khiry last year they gameplaned ZERO receptions for him...on ZERO targets...seems like a nice weapon and perfect sproles replacement...well it didn't take long for folks around here to find this years lamar miller and david Wilson....see andre ellington and now khiry robinson....who am I to say....but id be SHOCKED if ingram does not lead that team in touches next year....shocked.

he had a post-season snag of 13 against Seattle

Khiry Robinson RB NO 5 Hrs
ESPN analyst Louis Riddick expects the Saints' backfield to be "the Khiry Robinson show" in 2014.

We tend to agree. The Saints are moving on from Darren Sproles and quite possibly Pierre Thomas, not only to create salary cap space but in a transition of coach Sean Payton's ground-game mindset. New Orleans is going to try to field more of a drive-sustaining run game going forward, as opposed to the change of pace it was with Sproles and Thomas. The arrow is screaming upward on Robinson's Dynasty outlook. Mark Ingram's role will also increase.

Khiry Robinson RB NO 2 Months
Khiry Robinson rushed 13 times for 57 yards and a touchdown in New Orleans' Divisional Round loss to the Seahawks.

The undrafted rookie caught one pass for 13 yards. Apparently compared to Curtis Martin by Bill Parcells during the week, Robinson had little trouble finding lanes against Seattle's up-and-down run defense, but had an obvious fumble missed by the referees. An imposing 6-foot-0, 220 pounds, Robinson goes into the offseason on the back of a 54/224/1 year as a rusher. He has deceptive speed for his size.

Ingram had 7 receptions during regular season and Cadet 2.. The fullback had more receptions than Ingram, Cadet and KRob combined.

Lack of receptions is not relevant.

I agree that every year a couple of new RBs get hyped. I don't think Ellington/Khiry will reach the levels of hype that Wilson/Miller did last year. Ellington may come close, but I doub't his ADP climbs any higher than the 4th round. Plus the difference between Ellington and Wilson/Miller is that Ellington produced 1k yards the previous season. Khiry fits the mold a little better, but there's no way he even sniffs the 2nd or 3rd round in startups. Maybe the 6th round. I get what you're saying, but the risk won't be as great with Ellington/Khiry as it was with Wilson/Miller.

Risk is still quite low, but now is time to act. Offer smartly, though. Do 2 for 2 types, or 3 for 3... Asking for Khiry alone sets off caution alarms and knee jerk no answers.

Team Ingram Join with @FarFromHome and @Bddavidson. Team Krob join me.

KRob caught 38 passes his senior year. He also caught 11 passes in the preseason and 1 postseason. He has good hands. A better pass catcher than Ingram. Krob is very good at catching the screen pass and check down. He's not the burner that Sproles was so they won't try and hit him on quick outs out of the backfield because that's not his strength. I do expect him to catch 30+ balls next year. That's a conservative estimate. We're just talking about 2 checkdowns a game here. In addition, Krob is bigger than Ingram and more likely to get the goal line carries imo. Ingram had only 1 td last year and caught 24 passes in his entire 3 year career. I'm not saying NO won't be a rbbc situation, I'm saying do whatever you have to do get this guy on your roster now. Do it before PT is possibly cut or traded as well. The hype train will run all summer and I expect his ADP to shoot through the roof. Locals in New Orleans have seen this coming since last year. Tis the season to be bold and my prediction is Krob will emerge as the #1 RB in NO and the #1RB in NO has shown he can have RB2 value in fantasy.

Tell me this guy can't catch passes. He's not a homerun threat, but he runs angry, slips tackles, and always seems to get an extra yard or two before going down.
