He might be only 75 receptions, but he will easily make up that difference in rushing yards.

Yes, I realize that puts him in the elite range.

All the vikings QBs together may not have those numbers...much less a raw second year WR.

Request was for some projections, not to trash others projections. Step up and put some projections on the board!

I really liked CP coming into this year but I think the hype has already gotten out of control...I think that he puts up

75/1150/5 and rushes about 25/270/4

Those numbers are awesome, but you are paying for 100/1400/15 when you buy him. So it's like...what's the point?

The numbers you have must have included Freeman's Tampa numbers? The Vikings passed for 3,645 yards last year. Instilling Cassel as a full time starter and factoring in Norv Turner, it seems reasonable to expect improvement, yes?

1200 CP (1300 total includes rushing yards - CP rushed for 158 last year alone only really playing significantly in the second half of the season).

400 Jarius Wright

600 Jerome Simpson (that is a projected decline due to less playing time)

300 Kyle Rudolph (he could easily add to this number, but I'm assuming, if he does, the Vikes will surpass 4000 yards total passing)

400 10% "other"

Optimistic? Probably. But I traded for him this offseason because I believe he is the next elite WR. Time will tell...

Ok...so like 3500 passing yards...and they wont have 3 different QBs this year.

All jokes aside, this is probably a reasonable line for him. That line would be 271pts in PPR. That would have been WR12 numbers in 2013. My issue with CP is the same as yours. He's already being priced higher than that. There's just too much bust potential and not enough upside at his current price for me to want to buy him.

Our numbers are close, for projections. You are lighter on TDs than I am, but the dude scored one TD in each of the last four games, and I am certain he will score several in a single game this coming year. I don't think my 13 TDs are unrealistic, but that is what makes fantasy football fun - a wide variety of opinions.

If u own him u want to ride it out now rhat you waited a year and in startups u will have to buy early too early for me, glad I grabed him twice so I can enjoy the ride ....

That's what makes it fun !!!!!

I really like Patterson but I'm expecting more of something like 65/900/6. I think the rushing numbers are spot on. Of course I think that could reach your numbers emurrell but I think those numbers and more will come during year 3.

As I've stated before I like j bell alot I discussed with a owner in a league recently , he offered me j bell for my 1.5 and c pat.....

He was shocked when I said no !!!! This is the c pat hater or the real j bell lover !!!!!

Patterson is losing his upside by the day. He will soon be undraftable just as Wilson was last year. Hopefully we learned our lesson.

I see about 1200 total yards and 9-11 tds. Still figuring out receptions but I'm having a hard time believing he will crack 70 and I think 65 is more realistic.

I think he has more uspside in the running game to be honest. 2 back sets with AP would be tough to defend. I could see him rushing for 4 or 500 yards next year under ideal conditions.

Regardless, there's almost no reason to draft him in a dynasty startup. You can get victor Cruz a round later it seems. His ADP will be creeping on 3rd pretty soon if it isn't already there.
