Allen isn't going anywhere - while CP has a lot to learn about route-running, Allen is already a top 10, maybe better, route runner.  Not to mention his short area quickness is amazing - he shakes every corner, he can catch, he is dynamic, and very good after the catch.  Allen has football skills, CP has physical gifts, both will get it done, but Allen is going to be GREAT if he stays healthy.

Actually Allen was #18 among WRs in my standard PPR league last year...not top 10. And look at V Jax career numbers in SD...Not elite at all...boarderline stud and V Jax is really talented and huge. Many said DT was raw and couldnt run routes as well...

Can't really compare V JAX and Allen... different coaching staffs GM and System..but that being said CP has the higher ceiling, his size and speed is something you cannot teach and his moves with the ball in his hands are crazy good.

I believe BMX was saying Allen is a top 10 route runner.

I'm a Vikings homer ... watched every game last year, blah blah ... but I think people forget about 2 things.  1 - Jennings is still on the roster ... and Cassell (starting QB for now) favored him ... 2 - Rudolphs involvement in Norv's system.  I agree that people are setting expectations too high for CP ... love the talent ... but the Vikes show will be run through AP, sprinkled in with the 3 recieving options.  Much like Percy in MN ... his stats (IMO) will be dictated through what he does after the catch, which he's phenomenal at ... but can't be predicated.  My guess: 65/898/5 with another 229/2 on the ground ... and another 3 TDs via the return game.  Solid season still.

    Too bad
    Bold Predictions:
Cordarelle Patterson replaces Josh Gordon in the top 5 WR group.
(Julio, Calvin, AJG, CP, and Dez)

Andre Williams proves himself to be the best RB in this class, by having the most productive rookie season of all the rbs.

CP doesn't cost that much if u drafted him last year in rookie draft. He was going in 1.5-1.9 range. His value has gone up big time, I think it's valid thou if return yards count & Vikes use him more w AP opening up space for him. Jennings contributing can only help him.

Thought this would be fun-Took down everyone's projections. Averaged them if you ballparked an amount. Would be interested to see where this line would fall with 2013 ppr WR's. Oh yeah I didn't include return tds if you projected them.

    I didn't have 2013 handy but here is 2012:

    NonPPR (-55 from #1): #13 Wes Welker > CP > Victor Cruz

PPR (-109): #15 Michael Crabtree > CP > Randall Cobb
