Yawn. This RB class is weak.
Yes last year we didn't see a RB go in the 1st either, but we all were looking forward to see where Ball, Bernard, Michael, Bell, Lacy(some) we're going. This year, not so much.

You keep talking about how weak this year's RB class is...   We were ALL looking forward to where Ball, Bell, Bernard, Lacy etc... were going last year?

Okay, but no more than looking forward to where Sankey, Mason, Hyde, Carey, Williams, Seastrunk, etc, etc, etc... go this year...   This class is better than last year's at least, IMO...   At least as prospects....
NON-PPR, 6pt TD Pass, Return Yards Count, Start 1-3 RBs
QB - Brees, RG III, Cousins
    RB - L Bell, Z Stacy, A Brown
WR - Marshall, J Nelson, Jeffrey, R Cooper, Hopkins, Harvin, D Rogers, G Whalen
    TE - J Cook, K Rudolph
    K - Bailey, Dawson
    D - Seattle, NY Jets

And last year no one really thought too much about Ellington, Stacy or Lacy for that matter. Same can happen this year. You shouldnt talk so matter of factly about things that havent happened yet. And Ball, Lattimore and Michael havent done anything yet. I agree that last years class was good but we have no idea what this class will be yet. Theres some talent there.

Ellington and Stacy were two of my sleepers, you may recall.

Here's a q, who will be the first RB taken in the NFL DRAFT?

    Sankey?
    Hill?
    Carey?
    Mason?
    Hyde?
    Other?

Another q, which team will be the first to draft a RB?

Here are some spots that may consider a RB...

    Rd2
ATL @ 38? Highly doubt it
    JAX @ 39? Doubt it
    TEN @ 42? Possibly
    CHI @ 51? Hmmm
We may not see a RB taken in rd 2. Let's look at rd 3

    ATL @68?
    JAX @69?
    MIN @72?
    CHI @82?
    CAR@ 92?

Self fellatio every year. When you're calls flop, you disappear only to reappear during draft time again. So we'll handle the yodeling now but for the love of god Barry Horowitz, relax already.

Nope. I admit my Lacy and Starks calls.
Starks being a bold prediction... But who's bold predictions actually come true anyways... Only Smitty's :)

Those are the same questions every year man in todays NFL. The days of top 10 RBs are over.

Theres is no way 2 RBs get drafted in the top 10. I doubt either goes in the top 10. We will at least have a RB or 2 go in the 1st round though.

It will come around again, all positions are cyclical and as the game evolves, yet again RB will be a mainstay, might be 12-15 more years. Way back inside LBs were the best dominant players, so they caught up to the power Running game, then TEs were the new fad, as they could run faster than those big Mikes. Then safety came in fad to hold off TEs, then fast WRs that could cut and run faster, then great corners... And we are that far along the evolution.
I skipped a few steps of evolution of offense keeping ahead and defense catching up...
When many teams have a slot corner and play dime packages and less safety/LBs, offense will migrate back to power running to beat the crap out of the smaller fast pass defending defenses designed to stop the 3WR & TE sets that are in style now...
Just keep up with the offensive fads!!

3 RB's will be drafted in rd 1 in 2015... Gurley, Yeldon and Gordon.

Maybe but I think the passing league is here to stay. It sells tickets and the rule changes favor it. RBs cant even lead with their helmet anymore and colleges are not going to go away from spread offenses.

And I doubt none go in the top 10. RBs are just not game changers anymore for NFL teams. How have the Vikings done with AP and AP is one of the best all time. QBs, WRs, tackles and pass rushers are what they want. RBs are after thoughts today.

Fine, maybe not two in the top 10, but one of Gurley or Yeldon could crack top 10... BUT, I'm 100% sure all three of Gurley, Yeldon and Gordon will go in rd1. These guys ooze rd 1 talent.

Not likely. They may ooze talent but the position oozes disinterest from the NFL.

Top 10 picks need to be difference makers for teams. RBs arent anymore.

RB: McCoy, Miller, Stacy,F. Jackson, Lattimore, R. Jennings, Gerhart, L. Murray
    WR: Cruz, Blackmon, Gordon, Jeffery
    TE: J. Thomas

Will have to drop to 12 before draft
    Team 2
    QB: Peyton, Osweiler, McCown, Glennon,
RB: Spiller, Ball, Pierce, Polk, Todman, Randle, Williams
WR: Marshall, Gordon, Jeffery, Jennings, Austin, Hartline, Sanders, K. Benjamin, Moncrief, Abbrederis

I pray Gurley pops his knee out and Yeldon gets charged with possession. Good bye 1st round selection. Silences your predictions.
