I simply used a minicamp blurb as supporting evidence and as a conversation starter. My opinion is based on facts. Not little logic or what have you done for me lately. I gave actual production numbers in the OP. I actually find the opposite to be true. Using little logic is basing his breakout potential on combine measureables, which I assume you mean pro-day, and a blurb from the GM describing him two years ago. As far as chances go, he's had them. 6 years worth. I don't think he's not performing because he's never been given an opportunity. I'm not a fan of Wright either, and I wouldn't blame anyone for rostering either if picked up on the cheap. And you're right, Robinson could surprise me and breakout. I'm just trying to keep the hype in check with facts.
Robinson was a rookie in 2012. Going back to college is pretty pointless. In any event, it doesn't make any sense to completely write-off a starting TE, on a TE friendly team, with the best TE coach in the league, whom will cost you pennies. I don't care if you think he's going to bust or not. The guy hasn't been given a chance and has a very high ceiling based on opportunity and measureables- which is the way we fall in love with rookies. No offense, none of us are scouts so having an opinion that he's going to suck and just blindly stay away from a guy with his potential is myopic and out of touch. And to do it for a guy like Tim Wright who has virtually no ceiling and no future as an impact fantasy TE is even more myopic.
I just don't see how anyone can say he's not worth a pickup based on how little it will cost you and how high his ceiling is if he hits.
Why is it wrong if there opinion is that he isnt very good not ok and your opinion is he will be good is ok..both are opinions one isnt better than the other..

The blurb on Wright had nothing to do with OTA's. It was a blurb on how much they expect Wright to be a part of the Tampa offense. Thanks for your input though.
That's part if the problem, stop reacting to a nonsense OTA blurb. Tim Wright is waiver wire fodder. Lovie Smith's teams never have a fantasy friendly TE. It's a run-first, ball control offense. They just drafted ASJ, whom they wouldn't have drafted if Wright was actually going to become large part of the offense. You're a smart guy, form your own opinion. Ignore the blurbs.
I just find it so hilarious that people are making fun of Robinson, saying they wouldn't want him and are a "staying away" when the guy is going to be given his first chance, has terrific combine measurables and plays for an extremely TE friendly offense on a team with the best TE coach in the league. Especially, because you can obtain Robinson for virtually peanuts.
I find it so fascinating that teams avoid guys like Robinson using very little logic and replace it with the opinionated ' what have you done for me lately' theory. But yet, you'll draft a rookie that's probably going to bust or a guy like Tim Wright just because he had a few nice games last year in a completely different system with a completely different roster. Tim Wright will be lucky to catch 35 passes.
