    Over/Under: targets for Torrey Smith

      early, but Torrey is on pace for 168 targets.

      sounds about right...I still say over...I said 175 back in july and im gonna stick with that

      Still under for me.  We are two weeks into the 2013 season.  How can you project 2 games, lol.  There will be quite a few games where BALT runs the rock much more than they pass because they are winning thus bringing your 2 week projections down quite a bit.  Oh yeah, I guess Peyton is gonna throw 72 TD's in 2013 because he's on pace after 2 games, lol.

      well doggie...he has 22 targets in 2 games and the season is 16 games...so you simply multiply his 2 games by 8...22 targets times 8...22X8=176 :D

      And at the same pace, Eddie Royal will get like 38 touchdown receptions in the year. Seems about right.

      Like I said, It's early, but folks were making it seem like over 165 targets for Torrey is/was impossible.

      Torrey already has 2, 80 plus yard games... had 4 all of last year... and matched his career high in targets(13) and receptions(7) this past Sunday.

      I never said it was impossible because anything is possible.  I think it's not likely to happen but instead of using two weeks of action, lets sit back and revisit this thread after week 5 or 6 when we have a bit more to go off of.   ;)

      And like I mentioned... back to back 85 plus yard games for Torrey... had only 4 all of last year.  I understand it's early... but two keys stats here:  tied career highs in targets(13) and receptions(7) this past weekend.  the arrow is pointing up.

      Junkies you're not going to hear an argument from me on just how good Smith is going to be. I'm the only guy on the veteran staff here who has him in my top 15 of WRs. I just don't think he'll get the billion targets you think he will. But he is a rising stud. I agree with you, its early.
