    ALSO on Ben Tate, the good news is that he is meeting with them two days in a row, some reports indicate. This is great news IMO and I think it means a deal is getting ironed out. Will they hit a snag? That's unknown, but I like the odds here.

    Yeah, I'm thinking this could be good news for Tate owners.  CLE is honestly the best landing spot for him IMO.

    It would gray him out (meaning we won't take him off, but rather acknowledge he was a great value and we all took advantage).. One step at a time, though. I have a source in CLE I'm trying to get more info!

    NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Colts and free agent Hakeem Nicks are "closing in on a deal."
    GM Ryan Grigson has reputation for being a closer, so it was always unlikely Nicks left Indianapolis without a deal. Still only 26-years-old, Nicks would theoretically provide playmaking ability on the outside, allowing T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne to move around the formation. If his heart is in it, the Colts will provide Nicks the offense and opportunity to reemerge as a fantasy relevant wide receiver.

    I think SS figured he would get more playing time in BAL and gets to play football his way. BAL really missed Boldin's smashmouth play last year. Scrappy SS should help BAL out a lot. I really like this signing.

    I couldn't have imagined a better landing spot for Nicks to resurrect his career/disappointing 2013 season.  If TRich can get it going, look out for this Indy team in 2014.

    Nicks value just jumped up big time if he can stay healthy Wonder if Bradshaw had something to do with getting Nicks there in Indy, since they resigned him too!
    My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
    QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
    RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
    WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
    TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

    (I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

    Again, admittedly, the source I have is a couple individuals removed from the exact situation, but my sense now is that there isn't a sense of urgency for a reason, that both sides want this done... plus, as I was told, "you don't stay two days for nothing". Bad news could still come, "ironing out details" is still the obstacle, one that surely could send him home without a deal. But again, as I said in the 'news' post I posted above, the sense I get is Tate knows this is the deal he has to get done.

    Again I have a team that is close weaker at rb lots of wr. Would you send 1.6 and fitz for Tate once he lands in Cleveland I doubt that would get him ????


    A top 3-6 rb for a older wr and 1.6

    The offer is in the table ????
