    Again, admittedly, the source I have is a couple individuals removed from the exact situation, but my sense now is that there isn't a sense of urgency for a reason, that both sides want this done... plus, as I was told, "you don't stay two days for nothing". Bad news could still come, "ironing out details" is still the obstacle, one that surely could send him home without a deal. But again, as I said in the 'news' post I posted above, the sense I get is Tate knows this is the deal he has to get done.



    Again I have a team that is close weaker at rb lots of wr. Would you send 1.6 and fitz for Tate once he lands in Cleveland I doubt that would get him ????


    A top 3-6 rb for a older wr and 1.6

    The offer is in the table ????


    I think he could be worth that, but then again, we still need to see "official" before you buy at prices where he is a starter...

    Thoughts
    My league is a non PPR 12 person league having a roster of 19 players each. Active roster includes 1Qb 2Rb's 3Wr's 1Te 1K 1Def. Two weeks before draft we cut the roster down to 9 keepers. My team as of now:
    QB Nick Foles, Russell Wilson, Josh McCown
    RB Lamar Miller, Shane Vereen, Zac Stacy, Cierre Wood
    WR AJ Green, Julio Jones, Josh Gordon, Rueben Randle, Kenny Stills
    TE Z Ertz, M. Bennett, Delanie Walker
    DEF Kansas City, Cleveland
    K Steven Hauschka

    (I'm not a expert but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!)

    I think it's a big move if the Tate deal becomes official. It's not. But, my guess is once official, Tate will cost more. Know it's a risk, though. Like no question it's a risk until we see ink on paper for Tate. But, if you can trade Wilson and AJ Green for an Allen or DT or Marshall, you really clean up.

    I love your WRs, and your RBs are decent enough... but Foles is the key here. If Tate signs with CLE, it's a great deal. If.

    I heard that the tower in the photo is a Cleveland Terminal Tower, so I hope that is not his way of saying the is heading to the airport. We shall see.

    On Ben Tate: 

    I'm trying to get more information, but I am pretty sure Tate is staying another night, which means 3 days in CLE and that's good news. If I find out Tate left CLE, or if he ends up leaving tonight, I'll try to post that here. I'm hearing guaranteed money is the only part that is still not settled/nailed down.

    BREAKING DraftCalc NEWS:

    (3/15/14 @01:29PM EST) It appears Ben Tate and the Browns will continue talks later today, as it is now past midnight. I’m being told the only hang up right now is in regards to guaranteed money. So, unless reports are wrong about Tate staying in Cleveland one more night, I’m feeling pretty good about a deal getting officially inked sometime Saturday. I’ve never heard of a player staying in town for three days only to walk away without a deal. Again, let's hope the reports about him staying another night are accurate and he wasn't headed to the airport a few hours ago.

    its either good news or its bad news.  I mean if they can't figure it out in 2 days they are not that close in numbers.  enough to not get the deal done but not in Tate's favor.  If Im Cleveland & he hasn't left I would low ball him.

    That trade offer is junk swampies.  no way I give up green for that.
