Really? Andre Brown barely did anything and yet again couldn't stay healthy. Granted Wilson didn't do much in the beg of the season, theres no proof saying that had he not gotten a major injury he wouldnt have put up big #s vs 3 horrible defenses like Brown did as Brown put up complete crap numbers all the other games just like Wilson.. So I wouldn't run around screaming how right you were there.. but whatever flaots your boat

I can already tell my Ellington prediction is gonna be in my signature. Ellington will not only post flex numbers despite being underused, he'll post RB2 numbers. I see Taylor getting the goal line touches so tds will be down, but between the 20's forget about it. I'm calling 200 carries, 40 receptions, 350 yds receiving and 950 yds rushing. Call it 1,300 total yds, 6 tds, 40 catches= 206 pts. Finishes RB15-20 range

Ellington reminds me of Spiller, in that he doesn't need to carry the full load to be effective. Hopefully his coaches won't forget how to use him.

Honestly, Ellington reminds me of Charles, and I think he can carry a full load like Charles. I just wish i was the coach, as coaching can screw this up. Yell at me all you want if you disagree, i'll put on my ear muffs now :)

Out of the way Smitty, I'm driving this bus hahaha! JK. I'll take personal responsibility on this one. Watch his youtube highlight reel and tell me you don't see JC or Spiller. No seriously I think this has all the makings of getting an RB2 with upside for the price of flex. The key is just not to overpay. I'm going all SportsScience on you here.

Andre Ellington rookie year- 118 carries, 5.5ypc 652 rush yds, 39 receptions, 371 yds, 4tds
CJ spiller second yr- 107 carries 5.2ypc 561 rush yds, 39 receptions, 269 yds, 4tds
Jamaal Charles second yr- 190 carries 5.9ypc 1,120 rush yds, 40 receptions, 297yds, 8tds

I used Spiller and Charles second yr statistics because they were both hardly used their rookie yrs. They both broke out into full on RB1's the following yr. You can see their YPC are similar and they're receptions almost identical. It all came down to workload. I'm not saying Ellington is Spiller or JC, but if Ellington's workload increases to 190 carries (Mendenhall got 217 last yr) he could come in around 1,000 yds rushing. I wouldn't expect 5.9ypc. If this is who this guy looks and runs like and the past is any indication, you could be looking at buying a breakout RB the year before he does it. At worst, you pay a flex price for a guy who will put up flex numbers with even a minimal increase in attempts. The upside is huge.

im not floating anybody's boat luke...take a deep breath....my point is that people need to be aware that todays diaper dandy is tomorrows waiver trash...in bringing up Wilson im simply implying that he is this years david Wilson and lamar miller....the offseason runaway hype monster....guys around here are talking like they are building a fantasy team around ellington...but I still question if he is even a weekly starter....its all comes down the cost it took you to get him

nice info don....great comparisons....when you simply label the players A...B and C I get how you can like the trend...the problem for me is that I just don't think ellington can be mentioned in the same zip code as spiller and Charles...time will tell...nobody is always correct...well....except maybe luke

Agreed, I don't think he's in JC and Spiller's zip code yet, but he's on the border of the next town over. NFL draft scout had JC as the 6th ranked prospect of his draft class, Spiller the 1st, and Ellington the 6th as well. That's what's fun too. Trying to predict the players who can break out

One more thing gets me. That offensive line was the worst in football right? Damn near if not. They're getting a 1st rounder back in Jonathon Cooper, they're prob drafting O-line in the 1st this yr, and are targeting a guy like Brenden Albert in free agency. What's not to like there? Plus his handcuff(I'm guessing Stepfan Taylor) only cost me a 21st rounder in dynasty.
